Hi Blb,
Got my thinking cap on for you ...

What about chicken breast wrapped in slice of bacon baked in oven? Cut a slit in chicken breast and put a teaspoon of low-fat garlic boursin (or similar soft cheese) before wrapping around the bacon. I normally serve this with new potatoes and broccoli/carrots. Not too bad on the cals if you only have 1 or 2 of the potatoes.

Or veg chilli - (it's very low-fat)?

Pasta and roasted veg

Big pot of stew (you can tell i'm from ireland!)- lovely to have after come back from nice long walk

Hello all - Having a bit of a crappy day today. i went to the gym from work a min ago only to find that my water bottle had leaked all over my gym clothes so I'm not going to be able to go today.

Weekend wise, I had a Indian takeaway on Sat night and went out for a roast yesterday (starter and pudding too ) but I didn't eat anything else yesterday so that might be ok! I also went for a bike ride AND went the whole weekend without touching a drop of alcohol which was really good for me!

I am away on a hen weekend this weekend so I know I will totally over indulge on all counts. Still I am being good until then so hopefully it will counter act!

For tea tonight we will either have:-
minute steaks with some gravy thing and sautee potato's(it's a recipe in the Annabel Karmel weaning book)
Chic breasts with stuffing wrapped in bacon
or
Chic curry

I have had 2 cups of tea so far today and I'm having ww soup with 2 slices of plain bread for my lunch.

Well done to all of you using your pedometers - there's no point in me doing it because I have a desk job so the only time I get up is to have a wee.

Other dinner ideas - ummmmmmmm
Chilli
Lasagna
Spag Bol
Casserole
Shepards Pie

sweetheart · 13/11/2006 13:32

Whoops - sorry, I didn't relise how long that post was!

MrsFish · 13/11/2006 13:43

Well Iam having a crap exercise day today, and yesterday for that matter. Yesterday I was too hung over to do anything, today I have been catching up on stuff I have taped off the telly The weather looks so horrible out I can't bear to go for a walk yet, plus ds is asleep and has been since midday. I may brave the weather this afternoon just take my waterproofs in case the heavens open and do a small walk, better than nothing

mummydoc · 13/11/2006 14:02

oops i have forgotten my promise to exercise - but have nipped home for an hour to let puppy out and have done some hoovering and dusting and all the bending down /up to put toys away must help - surely ( slightly desparate tone of voice there...) i have had a slimfast shake and an apple today - i must get out for a walk tomorrow.

BIGlilBUBU · 13/11/2006 14:05

OP posts:
loopity · 14/11/2006 10:36

hi lornaloo! Like the new name, was never sure how to pronounce the other one! It's a lovely day here, sunny and crisp - will have to fit a walk in this morning.

OP posts:
lornaloo · 14/11/2006 10:39

My old name was ment to mean...I have a big but still little baby. He was 9lb10oz when he was born. I know I know it was crap... I have changed it now though.

lornaloo · 14/11/2006 10:42

Yeh Where are you...
Dislexicicecream?
Sweetheart?
Biglips?
Texarose?
Mumtogusandalbie?
Norkle?
Havn't heard from you for a while. Hope you are all ok.

loopity · 14/11/2006 10:49

oh makes sense now lornaloo, i did like the old name btw too. (wow, 9lb 10oz for a first baby!! My third, ds2, was big strapping baby as well)

OP posts:
MrsFish · 14/11/2006 11:26

And here was I thinking that at 8 pound 3oz by ds was big

Well I haven't made the walk Ds is in nursery this afternoon though, so will be going shopping, so shall fit in a walk then

lornaloo · 14/11/2006 11:37

I know I was horrified. He was 2 weeks over due so maybe he would of been abit smaller.
I was 8lb10oz as a baby and dp was 8lb12oz so it was bound to happen really. I was kind of hopeing my second might be smaller. No?
Havn't managed a walk yet either? Im dressed now though at least.

lornaloo · 14/11/2006 11:45

Sorry thats hoping...

sweetheart · 14/11/2006 11:52

Hello, I am here!

Love the new name LL. I thought my two were quite big at 8Ib 1 and 8Ib 2 - wow, you brave lady!

Yesterdays food was ok (ish)
3 cups of tea
lunch - ww soup and 2 slices of plain bread
dinner - steak and sautee pots with veg and some fruit for pudding.
I did eat 2 biscuits whilst I was cooking tea as I was so hungry I was shaking and couldn't peel and chop properly.

Didn't manage the gym either yesterday - I think I posted about my water bottle soaking my clothes. Well I am going today instead and tomorrow plus I have netball later this week.

I'm hoping to get under 10St this week but I have a hen weekend this weekend so even if I do manage it it won't last! I'm just looking at my calender and all the social occasionas I have before xmas - not good for the diet.

Oh - although something good happened today. I work in construction (lots of ignorant men around) but this morning one of them came and said how much weight I'd lost! I was very pleased because blokes normally don't notice that sort of thing. He did finish by saying "yeah, you used to be this big" and proceeded to widen his arms and blow air into his cheeks - but still, I'm sure it was meant as a compliment!

loopity · 14/11/2006 20:25
