Lost 2st on Atkins but have since veered more to GL type diets. Unfortuntely don't seem to be able to stick to them like I could with Atkins.Still want to lose 3 stone (have put back on nearly a stone of the weight I lost) and am debating whether to go back on Atkins. Any opinions welcomed

can i ask for recipe suggestions here?

no fruit. one or two small tomatos. limited lettuce.

you can eat tuna - fish, any meat, 100% burgers - watch your sausages - they have carbs in. no bread - and obvious carbs. no fruit, small amount of veg - a cupfull - a small tea cup full.

a slice of cheese!

if anyone can find one - i think a link to a carb counter online wold be helpful.

20 grams per day carbs - so you must keep track.

no beer, no wine, no caffiene.

good luck!

no milk in your decaffeinated tea or coffee. only full fat creme.

last time i did this i started drinking my coffee black - now i cant drink it with milk in.

Welcome Hellmouthcusty (not the great custardo surely ??)

Thought it might be useful to post a link to the Atkins site regarding induction

New thread here

Up to now today I've had a glass of water and two paracetamols as a result of the Merlot last night which wasn't so much cheeky as downright belligerent.

See you on the new thread
