I'm doing ok, I'm doing slim and save and up to now had been purely packs, but last night I decided to have an optional meal so I had 100g of ham with half an iceberg lettuce, I rolled the ham up in the lettuce leaves - was fab, then I input my stuff into the planner and is not had enough so I had 2 baby bel light for my supper. I'm on day 5 (weigh In Monday) and I've lost 7.5lbs so well chuffed.

mumof4lildarlingslol · 20/04/2014 11:48

day 4, had a few pieces of plain chicken yesterday to stave off the hunger pangs :-( hoping they soon pass. Hope everyone has a good Easter x Easter Smile

realitygone · 21/04/2014 18:59

Hi everyone. I am day 6 of Cambridge diet.

I am 12 stone

am 5ft so I need to be between 7 & 9 stone to be my healthy bmi.

Am aiming for 9 stone and then will decide how I feel, I remember before having dd1 I was just under 7 stone and looked very unhealthy so maybe go to 8 as a minimum.

Is anyone else here doing Cambridge?

FrantasticO · 21/04/2014 20:31

Fell off the wagon and then under the wheels of a few more wagons Blush

Starting again and back on the packs again today
So annoyed with myself

Anyway, onwards!

Good luck everyone!

FrantasticO · 23/04/2014 21:20

Day 3 nearly done
Fingers and toes crossed to keep up the momentum
How's everyone else?

notapizzaeater · 23/04/2014 22:59

Had my weigh In on Monday and I was 9.5 lbs down, am at the seaside this week and I've been good up to now GrinGrin

ChazsBrilliantAttitude · 27/04/2014 08:04

Well on the weightloss Not. Best wishes for staying on track next week to everyone.

Small loss this week 0.6kg. Now only 0.1kg from my current goal which is 20kg down from my heaviest ever so it's time for a new goal. My BMI is 30.5 so next goal is BMI below 30. I think I will need to lose another 2kg to get there.

tiggermummy70 · 28/04/2014 08:20

Hi everyone.

back in the real world after easter holidays. took our girls to disneyland paris for 5 days.
only gained 3lbs. which I am happy with. water tastes foul to me there and buying bottled is so expensive so I know I didn't drink enough.

worriedsick100 · 28/04/2014 08:49

Hi ladies - is there somewhere that sets out the difference between all the vlcd. There seem so many of them. I know LL do meetings that will never have time to attend but anything else I would like to hear about. Also which one has the most variety of items to choose to drink/eat? Many thanks.

dalek · 28/04/2014 10:04

Day 1 of Lighterlife - wish me luck!

notapizzaeater · 28/04/2014 10:13

I'm doing slim and save, think most of the vlcd are pretty much the same but I quite like the taste of these.

Week 2 weigh in 2.5 lbs down, so 12 lbs in 2 weeks, which is good as was at seaside last week and stuck to it 95% of the time.

emmief77 · 28/04/2014 18:10

I am thinking of starting Cambridge after seeing the fantastic results of a friend of mine. Despite these results, I am sceptical about using a VLCD and keeping the weight off. I am also worried about hunger pangs, headaches, dizziness and any other side effects..

Can anyone reassure me?

notapizzaeater · 28/04/2014 18:16

The first three days are hard, and you could get all these things (I didn't but lots do) after that you are sailing.... I now have to remember to eat and make sure I get all my packs in.

tiggermummy70 · 29/04/2014 09:45

just remember hunger pangs do not increase exponentially. if you ignore them or have a drink of water they do subside. they do not do any harm. Smile

mumof4lildarlingslol · 01/05/2014 12:40

hi hows everyone doing? im 10lb loss in two weeks so very happy, setting a new goal of 21 lbs before my holiday now xx

BPrincess · 01/05/2014 15:29

I'm new here and thinking of doing the Clean 9/Nutri Lean programme. Anyone had any success with it/know anything of it? Thanks!

DakotaFanny · 02/05/2014 17:30

Starting on Tuesday.....with a slight frown on my face (fear) but hope in my heart (and thighs).

Doing Slim and Save. Aiming for 2 stone. 3 would be nice.....

Going to eat and drink myself into a bank holiday frenzy first!

ChazsBrilliantAttitude · 11/05/2014 16:46

Hope it's going well for everyone. I have lost a bit more and I am no longer obese as my BMI is below 30. I still have more to lose, I am now on the 3 packs plus a small low carb meal option which is easier.

mumof4lildarlingslol · 12/05/2014 10:42

15lbs off in just over 3 weeks so getting there, introducing a low carb meal into most days now, 13lbs to go before holiday x good luck all x

TheDietStartsTomorrow · 15/05/2014 21:46

Hi all, just started Slim and Save this Monday. Today was not too good. I kept tasting things as I was cooking meals for the family and taking swigs of smoothies from the fridge. In the end I caved in and had an extra meal. IT was a healthy choice but still took me over my cal and carb limit.

TheDietStartsTomorrow · 15/05/2014 21:51

Dakotafanny we've started at around the same time-ish. I'm also doing Slim and Save and have just under two stone to lose. I'm aiming a bit lower than my ideal weight so I can afford to regain a little when I ease myself off it.
Do keep us posted. I'm going to try get some companionship on the SnS forums but they seem a little boring.

mumof4lildarlingslol · 16/05/2014 16:38

good luck Dakotafanny and TheDietStartstomorrow, left the sns forums as they werent very friendly, the VLCD users support group on fb is friendly x

TheDietStartsTomorrow · 19/05/2014 14:38

Week 1, of SnS and I've lost 6lbs. Really pleased with that result although I'm a bit apprehensive about the next. I know week 2 losses are always greater than the rest so I'm hoping I'm not too disappointed next week.

I didn't stick to the plan religiously. I had a couple of samosas instead of a shake one night and last night I had a small bowl of pasta, some pearl batley broth and a teacup of cereal which probably took me out of ketosis. It may mean I have the first few day symptoms all over again

mumof4lildarlingslol · 19/05/2014 15:55

well done TheDietStartsTomorrow, I had the weekend off so it like day 1 again today x

IglooisnowinSheffield · 20/05/2014 16:29

Hi everyone, I started Cambridge a week ago, first weigh in yesterday and I've lost 7lbs Smile

I have three more stones to go to a BMI of 25 so hoping to keep my head down and get on with it. Finding it really boring but keep telling myself it's not forever.
