I am on first week of 5:2ing I found first fast day quite easy having been on Cambridge for 12 weeks. my appetite is definably smaller than it was.
We tried to take daughter out of meal last night as a replacement for the one restaurant messed up in Feb, but once again we couldn't eat there due to problems. So we ended up somewhere else and I had BBQ chicken with jacket potato. I managed about half chicken & spud. Didn't eat skin either and I had a diet coke float instead of a Pud - that for me is amazing.....

I am experimenting today as I had breakfast, I have got used to not eating on CD until around 10.30-11. Want to see if I am more or less hungry by lunch????
will have very small lunch as if a friend comes round tonight it is always a takeaway evening. (but it is nice to know I can have it if O want)

Sorry to talk about food

have good day

Another 3.5lbs off this week, delighted as I have fallen into having 2 days off after weigh in. I know that at some point it will catch up with me and then I'll be mad

angiepooos · 11/04/2014 19:09

Hello, I have been doing Cambridge Diet and lost two stone in six weeks, the best soups are vegetable and chicken and mushroom and the best shakes are banana, vanilla and butterscotch. I could never go completely liquid, so had three shakes during the day and a protein high supper with some green salad. It was surprisingly easy.

I've actually already lost what I set out to lose for a wedding I'm attending a week on Saturday, so if anybody is interested in buying up 24 shakes (the mix I mentioned above) let me know. They're were all bought from an official dealer just over a week ago so have long sell by dates.

FrantasticO · 12/04/2014 10:44

9 off
On holiday next week, so we will see!

pinkapples · 12/04/2014 11:20

I'm on holiday to from wednesday in Spain so fingers crosse I make some good decisions and keep it off before I have to get back on it from Lindsay

pinkapples · 12/04/2014 11:20

I meant Monday lol

angiepooos · 12/04/2014 12:10

So does anybody want to buy my remaining 24 packs of Cambridge at half price - I've lost what I want to lose now and don't need the final week. I only bought them a fortnight ago from an official rep but have started out eat normally again, so this saves them going to waste. A mix of chicken and mushroom and veg soups, plus vanilla, banana and butterscotch shakes. £1.00 each plus postage. Message me if you're interested. I can post on Monday to arrive Tuesday.

tiggermummy70 · 15/04/2014 07:02

how's everyone doing did you survive Monday?

notapizzaeater · 15/04/2014 09:02

First yesterday, we'd been town observatory to watch the moon and I was freezing, I was sat back in the house with my coat still on and my boots. I switched electric blanket on and donned socks for bed and only then did I warm up. Wasn't expecting this till day 3 or 4 so surprised ....

cardiandcrocs · 15/04/2014 22:34

Well, I've managed my first day ever on a VLCD, with Exante Total.

I've read this thread throughout the day, on & off. Reading it has really helped me. So thank you all.

Been peeing like never before. I'm just amazed that I've managed my first day.

Dieting had simply stopped working for me. I would lose few pounds then put on double what I'd lost.

I'm planning, one day at a time, to follow this for about a month. I need a kickstart. Then I'm going low carb.

Thanks again x

notapizzaeater · 15/04/2014 23:19

Well done, the first few days are the hardest. Currently I want to kill my DH as he eats peanuts !!!

cardiandcrocs · 15/04/2014 23:25

Thanks Pizza. Tell him to guzzle his peanuts out of your sight Smile

lizardqueenie · 16/04/2014 09:26

Right sloped off somewhere & came of the wagon. Back on today- day one! First shake done!

mumof4lildarlingslol · 16/04/2014 17:17

hi all, can I join you for support? starting S and Slimmers VLCD on Monday looking for inspiration, off to Spain in 8 weeks and would like to loose around a stone, wondering how to limit weight game whilst enjoying all inclusive Easter Confused

cardiandcrocs · 16/04/2014 21:20

Hi Lizard & mum. I've now managed amost two days, so far. Pretty shaky, but not surprising really.
Nice to 'meet' you both Smile

mumof4lildarlingslol · 16/04/2014 21:33

Can't wait to get started, hoping my supplies arrive soon, aiming to start Monday, good to "meet" you too cardiandcrocs x

notapizzaeater · 17/04/2014 17:25

Day 4 and I'm freezing, really really cold but I've dropped some weight so it's working GrinGrin

cardiandcrocs · 17/04/2014 20:42

Hi ladies.

Day 3 & I'm sooooooooooo bloated, that I look, and feel, as though I'm six months pregnant

cardiandcrocs · 18/04/2014 21:23

Another day gone. Must admit I succumbed and ate solid food.
I was feeling very woozy, so had two hard boiled eggs.

ChazsBrilliantAttitude · 19/04/2014 10:06

Hello all. I'm still working at it steadily. I've got a couple of weeks left on the Exante total+ before switching to the next level and adding in a low carb meal. I have had the odd low carb meal when I've been out all day with the DC especially if we've been very active.

I've lost a couple more Kg so I'm passed my 13Kg goal. Current loss is 14.3Kg which is only 0.7 from my next goal which will be 20Kg down from my heaviest ever weight. BMI down to 30.7 so a couple more weeks and I'll no longer be obese.
