Im back and i need support! after finishing the 30 day shred on the other thread the plan to move onto ripped in 30 failed, i had an injury followed by a stomach bug followed by a cold type virus then ds had an operation and all together i've been out nearly 3 months! i've gained the inches i lost back and im feeling very crap about it, im also hell of a run down, lots of headaches, mouth ulcers, palpitations (from all the sugar) so im going back to base and starting the shred again TODAY! anyone else still shredding??

feel so great today. no pain walking downstairs this morning and actually managed shredding without screaming! and my eye bags seem less obvious. now munching on a banana and a nice cuppa Smile Smile

ALovelyBunchOfCoconuts · 05/11/2013 10:21

ooh iced, shred and divina? go you! Smile

Whereisegg · 05/11/2013 11:14

Yy seemed a much easier workout today, even those bastard bicycle crunches!
Found push ups the hardest today, may have something to do with being a bit cocky yesterday and attempting the 'proper' push ups.

Cup of tea, great idea!

jollygreenmama · 05/11/2013 18:25

Whereisegg I just started back today so thought I'd give it some!

Whereisegg · 05/11/2013 18:48

40 minutes Confused

Today is the first day I haven't shouted at the mean lady on the screen Grin

ALovelyBunchOfCoconuts · 06/11/2013 19:17

I actually found today harder than yesterday... maybe i was putting more effort in Grin

Whereisegg · 07/11/2013 07:59

The Skinny Jeans Of Truth are singing a very happy song this morning!

Hope I'm ok to shred later, very achy/heavy arm after flu jab yesterday evening.
May improvise it if it hurts lots or find an ab workout of hers, want to do something today anyway...

jollygreenmama · 07/11/2013 18:52

Well done Egg.
Failed today had horrible day involving dentist!
Back on tmrw :-)

Whereisegg · 07/11/2013 19:12

jollygreenmama · 08/11/2013 13:14

Went to the gym today & lifted some serious weight, did abs.
Back on shred tmrw, feeling slim (er) :-)
Have to try not to spoil it by drinking beer with hubby tonight..... :-/

Whereisegg · 08/11/2013 16:51

2 school runs (on foot) done, 6 hours at work (on feet, lifting and carrying) done, shred done, shower done, 7 hour bar shift (on feet, lifting barrels and carrying crates) starting at 7pm.

Happy weekend HmmWinkGrin

MsFiremanSam · 09/11/2013 19:20

Day 7 done Smile
Despite all the shredding and walking my weight has stuck this week. Think breastfeeding makes me retain weight, no matter what bloody skinny Kate Middleton says!

Whereisegg · 11/11/2013 18:00

You have to pay for level 2 on YouTube so I am alternating between level 1 and her 6 weeks abs workout.

She is a complete bitch!

Everyone else getting on ok?

MsFiremanSam · 12/11/2013 12:42

Seen the Shred on EBay for a couple of quid if that's of any interest?

Day 8 done and another pound lost Smile Really bored of Level 1 now ! Can't remember what's in level 2 but hoping the side lunge has gone!

dawnpreview · 12/11/2013 13:47

Hi. Can I join you?
I have just done day 2 of the shred, and I hurt! I have started it several times before (and even got to level 2 once!), but have never done the whole 30 days. I am so determined to lose some weight before xmas, and am giving it my best shot this time.
If anyone has some spare willpower feel free to send it in my direction :)

Whereisegg · 12/11/2013 13:59

one of my friends has it so may borrow but it's my stomach that is my biggest issue so the six pack one will be great anyway

hi dawn Smile Smile

MsFiremanSam · 15/11/2013 15:34

Hi Dawn!

Day 9 done. And lost 3llb last week! Can finally do the jumping jacks properly. Still no progress on those damned lunges tho!

How is everyone doing?

StarlightMcKenzie · 18/11/2013 11:28

Hi.

I just started the shred, again. Got to 6 minutes this time.

That's good right?

Can't use the weights as can't even do the moves without. Who knew I couldn't even hold up my own arms Hmm

Tell me I have a chance, or else tell me to do something else.

MsFiremanSam · 20/11/2013 17:06

Hi Starlight,
It's really, really tough but it's amazing how soon it gets easier. When I started L1 I could barely do anything but by the end I was managing most of it. Now started L2 and it's almost impossible again but I definitely feel fitter. I'd say try and get through the 20 mins, even if you just march through some of it. Use just one arm, squat only very slightly, do whatever you need to get through it. It might give you a psychological boost to complete it.
Before I had DD I completed Shred and regularly did her other DVDs, and I was the fittest I'd ever been. The thought of that is keeping me going!!
