Make me shred

The table is pulled out of the way. The jingly music is playing. Jillian is grinning at me and waiting to introduce me to her "two best girls helping us out". But I cannot bring myself to press play.
I did so well last week, a full week of shredding and watching what I eat. This week, Mr Motivation has left the building. I've already hada a square of chocolate.

Hello twenty

Still lurking here, I've picked up a stomach bug and also the start of shin splints so off running for 2 weeks but hoping to start shredding again tomorrow.

I'll be doing l2 so will keep you company until my legs have recovered

Morning! Okay, so it's not a good idea to miss 8 days. Definitely not. I've just done (after a fashion) Day 10 of L2. It was hard. Very hard. I didn't even complete it and I ache. The gallstone attack knocked me off my feet for a good few days last week and by the time the weekend came there was no point in even trying to find an hour for myself. I'm going to do a few more days (at least) of L2 to see whether I can build my strength back up - felt distinctly wobbly this morning. Sounds like we're at the same stage Twenty.

Ripping - sorry to hear about the bug and the splints but good to see you back here!

Ducky, welcome!

Binks - well done! What's your plan next?

Is anyone else finding it more difficult to find the time to exercise now the children are back at school? Ironically, I am - I thought it would be a breeze without CBeebies in the background and kids running past but I'm so busy trying to squeeze my whole day into a morning that it's impossible. Once 2pm comes, that's me - from then until around 8.30pm it's school collections, homework supervision, dinner, more homework, baths and bed for the kids - I feel tired thinking about it!

Okay, off for my reward of a hot shower now!

It's through. I'm starting tonight.

This is one evil Dvd isn't it? I object to getting sweaty but I object more to the apron 3 children and 1 c-secion plus chocolate have left me with, so am bloomy well getting on with it.

So here goes. I found the Hannah Waterman one quite bouncy and knackering.

I find the delights of Rosemary C paced in a very agreeable way I am such a gimmer but it has not toned anything.

I'm going to be muttering all sorts of unmentionables when she starts with the motivational stuff aren't I?

Well done everyone!

Have fallen by the wayside since school went back but did manage L2 D5 today.

Suspect it is actually Day 6 but as I haven't made a note or checked in here I have to assume it's 5. Sad

Well dear me- tena lady ahoy. I CLEARLY HAVE NO PELVIC FLOOR.
I dodged it for a couple of days but knuckled down today. It felt fine whilst I was doing it and it was strenuous but no OTT but afterwards my legs felt like jelly and they still do 3 hours later....

Did day 11 of L2 today. A few attempted press-ups but by the third cardio circuit I was begging for mercy!

Well done you guys. Don't know whether it will be Sunday or Monday next for me. Tomorrow is a day of ferrying kids to various activities!

Done day 2 today after missing one out on account of my legs being so stiff. I took myself out on a massive 2 hour walk yesterday which helped ease things up. Got on with it today and it wasn't too exhausting. The crunches where you have to lift your legs and bum kill my lower spine though. It felt really crunchy. Yowl.

Does anyone else struggle to lift themselves during crunches wihout wanging their head up? I have no stomach muscles

Sorry Twenty, didn't see you ask about me, thank you

I'm feeling much better, back out running now and into week2 of 5:2 fasting which I'm finding surprisingly easy

Now I'm well again and sorted out my shins I'll be shredding on non-running days

L3 shred is great fun isn't it?

Hey wallpaper and ripping well i have poorly DC so shredding is on hold, haven't managed to shred since Thursday. Gutted because i was really enjoying level 3. If they miraculously nap at the same time or at all i'll squeeze it in but it looks unlikely.

Wallpaper how long is each workout in ripped? I would really like a dynamic yoga dvd with 30 minute workouts, any ideas?

Sad hope the miniToes's are better soon Twenty

IME it takes a long time and a lot of bad eating to undo the good work you've already put in, you'll be back on the shredmill in no time Thanks

OMG Level 2 Day 6 today.

Forgive me shredders for I have sinned
It is 13 days since my last shredding.

Oh dear Sad

I need to get going again.

I am pleased with myself for shredding while the DCs had their tea, instead of my normal practice of a cup of tea, a snack and mumset. Will try to keep it up.

Oh, and WELL DONE EVERYONE!
