The table is pulled out of the way. The jingly music is playing. Jillian is grinning at me and waiting to introduce me to her "two best girls helping us out". But I cannot bring myself to press play.
I did so well last week, a full week of shredding and watching what I eat. This week, Mr Motivation has left the building. I've already hada a square of chocolate.

Day 10 of L1 done for me. It's been a bad week because other commitments have meant that I've missed three days and I notice it. If I don't exercise in the morning, there isn't a hope of me having the energy in the afternoons. I just need to get a run of a few consecutive days to get back into it.

This thread is fantastic for motivation - I want to be able to post that I've done another day so it's keeping me going. I know I'll drop out sooner or later but for now I simply must tell myself to keep going!

Im struggling! didn't shred yesterday as was planned rest day, had unexpected drinks last night so far to delicate to shred today and feel like I NEED takeaway food to survive the day, I WILL shred tomorrow though.

Also noticed that if I take my measurements in the morning and the evening I gain 3-4" by bedtime! any ideas how to reduce bloating??

Iced - I have the same problem with bloating - flattish tummy in the morning and, for me anyway, about 4 mths pregnant by bedtime Blush. I've always been prone to bloating - grrrr.

Don't worry about the last two days, you'll be fine tomorrow .... meantime, indulge Grin!

I get the tummy expansion as well. I don't have any tips. I'm hoping that as my abdominals develop (in addition to the line down the top I'm also getting a line up from the bottom and some side lines) that they will hold my tummy in!

Hello everyone! I am afraid I am not shredding today. I've done it for 17 consecutive days and I'm so tired!!! I'm just going to take one rest day, then get back into it.

I get the bloated stomach aswell, it doesn't matter what I eat, by the evening I'm just bigger! Like life I'm hoping it gets better as my tummy gets tighter!

Thanks, the rest has given my dodgy foot a well needed break too feels a lot better today than it has all week. I resisted the urge for a takeaway, instead I made sausage and oven chips not great but not as bad as a massive Chinese takeout I hope! will be shredding tomorrow actually looking forward to it :)

I haven't shredded today as been away but managed to get day 15 of L1 in before we left yesterday morning!

Tomorrow I start L2 :-D

I think it's difficult to keep the motivation up when so many people are taking holidays, along with all the treat food and wine, so a day off here and there is understandable, we shouldn't be so hard on ourselves - as long as we get back on the shred bus ;)

I'm sure I saw people asking if Jillian Michaels could come on for a web-chat a while back. How great would that be?

The extra 5 days on L1 definitely paid off, I really enjoy that :-D far better than I remembered

Even DD gave me space and told me I hardly cheated at all.

Gosh, I wish I could rediscover my enthusiasm. I've just kind of completed day 11 of L1 but with a stinking headache and then had to go on bum-wiping duties x 2 during the last cardio in circuit 3 so I just packed it in then. Maybe tomorrow will be better. Don't feel like I'm fit enough to move up (especially after hearing that Ripping really benefitted from the extra five days on L1, I know I need that) but L2 and a change from L1 might buck me up. Kids have hair cuts tomorrow am so will get up earlier to fit it in.

Someone give me a good boot on the butt and get me moving. Sorry for the whine-fest!

so back from hols, completed day 1 level 1 this morning. I actually quite enjoyed it!! picked weights too heavy tho and had to put them down and do it without a couple of times. Feeling bit shaky now!

Anyone use my fitness pal, if so what do you log it as?

Also weighed myself today and am heaviest I've ever been, 202.5lbs Sad BUT NO MORE I VOW!!!!!

I did half a shred this morning. my af is due tomorrow and in feeling it, shattered. I literally stopped half way through, bit disappointed. I usually feel better once period has actually started, in terms of energy, so hoping tomorrow is better!!

mrsmc i'll say the same to you that i said to ripping, if you don't feel ready to move up then don't. Just because its called 30 day shred doesn't mean it cant be 40 day, 3 month or whatever shred! You are still exercising everyday!
