Hi! Smile

I decided to start the SW eating plan again after I fell off the wagon 5yrs ago...Blush

Will be joining my local group next Tuesday evening.
I have tried to get back on the wagon many times but this time feels different, I'm at the end of my tether with it and I'm at my shameful heaviest.

My stats: (ConfusedBlushConfused)
Height:- 5'6
Weight:- 20st 9lbs
Age: 28

Anyone wanna join me? Or point me in the direction of an existing thread? xx

Cherry- I don't think so I was on a break then Grin I was on feb 2011 and she's the reason I'm on here!!! I gained about 5 stones I think. Still about 2 hanging around.
It's not going to be Grreat day. I'm craving junk tbh.

CherryPie3 · 09/03/2013 11:56

Crap at posting today - sorry!

I gained loads of weight with ds2 born in July 2010 but to be honest I've been overweight since having my first. I was a size 14 before having dd l, size 18 afterwards... Stayed size 18 goin into my second pregnancy, came out being a 20. Was a 22 going into my third pregnancy and a 24 after. And that's where I am now.

I want to be slim again and I'm determined this time, finding it so easy x

Ledkr · 09/03/2013 13:53

I'm on here a lot cherry
I'm glad she's my last tbh I've been lucky and lost my pg weight with the others. But with dd aged 2 I've never really lost it. My confidence is quite low from it and I hate the fact I can't dress how I like to dress. I've a good feeling this time though I think I'm in the right mindset to lose it .
My jeans are looser today which is a big boost.
I'm so hungover today I can't wait to go to bed

Theeverexpandingrodders · 09/03/2013 16:56

ceebeegeebies · 09/03/2013 19:51

Evening everyone Smile

Have fallen off the wagon this weekend Sad Mothers Day and my gluttony has got the better of me so I am back on it again on Monday yet again.

I really need to be determined - we are going on our first holiday abroad since before having the DC in August and I really need to shift 2 stone by then. It sound easily doable but losing weight seems so difficult for me Hmm

Hope you are all having a good weekend Smile

Ledkr · 09/03/2013 20:39

cee it's hard for me too. I have to be really strict and don't lose quickly.
I'm hanging off the wagon myself due to hangover. Had too much bread although I must admit not much else naughty. However dd and dh have just cooked my Mother's Day meal as he is working tomorrow and I've indulged. Quite happy to jump back on again Monday though I do think of you denied yourself special occasions you could never stick to it.

Goldensunnydays81 · 10/03/2013 06:28

Thanks for those suggestions I ended up having a chargrilled chicken breast with jacket potato and salad! I even resisted the butter on the potato
And didn't take any of the chips from ds plate :) was very proud of my self!
I'm still trying to lose the weight i put on with ds plus the extra that went on top of that!!! Plus I want to get pregnant again and to do that i have to lose weight!!
Hope everyone is having a good weekend and hope you are all recovered ledkr from your hangover today Smile

CherryPie3 · 11/03/2013 15:00

Oooh golden that's sounding lovely!! And well done!!

Hope you're fully recovered from that hangover ledkr :)

Weigh day for me tomorrow. Not hopeful for a massive loss, in fact I'll be happy to have maintained with all those ginger biscuits! Plus I've had an extra helping of porridge today as ds2 pinched half of mine but I then made another full portion for me. Not the end of the world but it feels like it!

Hope everyone is having a good day. xx

Right, have tried to save the rolll call list to my laptop but something isn't working right and it isn't saving or typing in the font/size I'd like to. -piece- -of- -crap.- So, I'll try and save it as a draft on my email on my iphone, or in my notes maybe.

Just thought I'd let you all know :)

My food diary for today:
breakfast: porridge with extra sweetener as I'm craving sugary stuff!

lunch: chicken fried rice the SW way.

Tea: Roast chicken with SW chips and a splash of gravy, or beans. Haven't decided yet.

xx

I didn't go to the meeting last week, but I went last night - 7 1/2 lbs off! Yay! I feel really motivated now Grin

Ledkr · 13/03/2013 09:19

I'm trying to get back on it and not doing too badly.
I'm eating far less and my tummy is looking quite flat. I'm so chuffed I keep touching it. People will think I'm insane.
Not done any exercise but will do over the weekend.

CherryPie3 · 13/03/2013 13:45

Afternoon all!

Amazing weightloss whoever!!!!!

Grin at you touching your flat tummy ledkr, I'll be when I get my flat tummy :)

Just cooking SW chips and will have mushy peas with them for lunch (at 2pm Hmm). Lashing of salt and vinegar and its still a syn free chippy meal! Yum!

Where is everyone lately? X

OP posts:
CherryPie3 · 13/03/2013 14:51

Ok, can't physically move after eating those chips and mushy peas!
It was so yummy though! Really felt like I was cheating though. Sooo full!!

OP posts:
WhoeverHeardOfAWormskinRug · 13/03/2013 16:04

Ooh last night I was told that if you do slimming world chips (or in our case little potato squares) in the actifry and halfway through, put a jelly beef stock pot in then it flavours the chips and, apparently, is yummy indeed! (I don't know how that would relate to the oven version of the chips - we don't have an oven at present)

Next week's recipe is chocolate orange cake made with chickpeas instead of flour - quite excited to see that one!

picklepepper · 13/03/2013 18:22

Hi all, some Fab weight losses this week, well done you lot! I misdeed my meeting on Monday as a meeting after work over ran, so I had the intention of going tomorrow night to another group until I remembered that's parents evening (last one if the year, Woohoo!) So I'll just have to wait till Monday.

I've been to 2 boot camp sessions so far, boy are they hard work, but it feel good to be doing some exercise along with the eating plan Grin

Today I have had belvita breakfast biscuits for breakfast (probably terribly high in syns, but it was my only option when I was late leaving the house), chicken salad for lunch, and stir fry for dinner. Hoping for a good loss this week with the eating and exercise combined!

Please do share the angel delight recipe Wannabe , it sounds like something I would enjoy!

picklepepper · 17/03/2013 05:45

Hi everyone,
Thread seems to have slowed down so I thought I'd post a quick catch up (this thread had fallen off the 'threads I'm on' it's been so long.) So it's weigh-day for me again on Monday... I've not had a bad week, but it has been the most stressful week at work and I didn't eat at all thurs/Fri, as I felt sick with worry, so Fri evening after work I had cake AND chocolate to.give me a boost before Bootcamp.

Hope everyone else is still doing ok, I've decided that my small change this week will be increase the amount of water I'm drinking daily, as I'm now drinking water everyday, but I think I could drink more to see a better effect.

Hope to hear from you all soon!

Oogerbooger · 17/03/2013 08:33

Hiya! Can I join too?

I have been what my MIL calls a "big girl" for years now, and put on more weight when pregnant and BF DD1. Had DD2 14 wks ago but bizarrely was 13lb lighter after giving birth than I was when I got pregnant! Felt really good about it (thinking good to start eating plan not on back foot) but have been inhaling food since then and now feel gargantuan! Keep thinking as BFing that I can afford the extra cals Sad

Going to start on SW again - will dig out my old book and am off to buy some scales today.

Will confirm weight but details prob as follows:

Height: 5'9"
Weight: 14 1/2 stone
Age: 34
Target: 11 1/2 stone and will see where I am then :)

Find your stories v inspirational and hope you can hold my hand too to help me stick to SW this time Smile

Ledkr · 17/03/2013 12:17

Hi all. Back on the wagon tomorrow although I have a site throat coming and don't fancy the gym which is a shame.
Any inspiration for my work lunch tomorrow?
I like something I can eat hot in this cold weather brrrrr.

ceebeegeebies · 17/03/2013 15:55

Hi

I have been AWOL after a couple of badweeks so back on it tomorrow Smile
