That's it. Had great success in the past, starting again.

Also eating low carb.

Day 20 for me today. Level 3 starts tomorrow. I am feeling a little bit nervous.

Great to see so many people sticking to their diets, i had some chocolate covered raisins yesterday and wine, so it wasnt my best day.

Cat, i have had 2 rest days. Once i was so stiff, I couldnt face it, plus dd1 had her bday party that day and i had a million things to do. The other time, i did zumba as well and my body hurt - it needed a day off. Listen to your body, it will tell you what to do.

Not good advice Alli. My body really shouldn't be listened too.

It tells me to lie on the sofa, drink wine and eat crisps. At all times.

I guess I'll just keep going Grin

niceupthedance · 24/02/2013 08:19

Bit late to the party but have just discovered 30DS, on day 2.

Yesterday, I felt like throwing up half way through but today I just felt knackered, so I think I will continue and see what happens.

Alligatorpie · 24/02/2013 09:05

Hahahaha cat!

Nice - i just came back from a toning class (and really want to die, ) but there was another woman who kept disappearing to the bathroom as she wanted to throw up. I think its pretty common if you havent exercised in a while. Keep at it, it gets easier the more you do.

Hahaha cat, my body tells me the same!
I am waiting for ds to be picked up by his dad and I'm all radh to go for a run around a local park.
And it's fecking snowing.
I'm going to the park in the hope that if I do need to spew there are trees and bushes a plenty.
I've downloaded lots of music, my trainers are on.
If I don't post again it's cos I suffered a cardiac arrest.
13.5 stone of unfit , pizza loving wereonourway is off!

FizzyMakeFeelNice · 24/02/2013 10:31

Hahaha cat, my body's the same! I'm trying to find the willpower to do today's shred, I know I'll feel guilty if I don't do it, and good if I do, it's just the starting part that's hard.

FizzyMakeFeelNice · 24/02/2013 10:32

Oh and good luck on your run wereon you're a braver woman than me!

FizzyMakeFeelNice · 24/02/2013 12:21

Day 7 done. I found it really hard today. I think I'll give it a go tomorrow but if it's too much I'll stop, but won't be too disappointed with myself as I've never done so much regular exercise in my life.

mummytowillow · 24/02/2013 12:33

Day one done! It was hard but i enjoyed it i think!

I'm amazed at the simplicity of it, its basic but effective and Jillian doesn't get on my nerves yet!

Did you take before photos? Think i will just to see the difference. Smile

Wereonourway · 24/02/2013 13:24

Well my "run" turned into a power walk.
The ground was thick of ice and snow so was difficult but to be honest the wee but if jogging I did was hard. It's scary how unfit I am. Managed 2 miles.
I did my first weeks weigh in, as staring 1200 cal last Sunday and shred a cpl days later and I've lost 6lb.
That's a decent start isn't it?
I missed Fridays shred due to feeling poorly so it's spurred me on to carry on.
Just making a sw chilli for lunch then will do shred this afternoon

niceupthedance · 24/02/2013 13:43

Yes I have taken before photos - not a pretty sight, hope no one goes through my phone!

Alligatorpie · 25/02/2013 07:03

I didnt take before pictures, but the pictures of me at Xmas (a month before i started this) are pretty horrific.

Level 3 today. Some of it was killer, but overall, it wasn't too bad. I think level 2 was worse.

Wereon - good for you not letting the snow get to you! It is supposed to be 27c here today, so I think my days for outside exercise are limited. ( not that i do much except walk)

Wereonourway · 25/02/2013 08:59

Well done alligator, I dread level 2, it's good that you aren't finding it too difficult.
My work trousers feel looser today, which feels fab.
Week 2 of healthy living and although the cravings are creeping back in its not particularly for fatty foods or sugar it's for quick foods, convenience stuff. And I know that just laziness.

IwishIwasmoreorganised · 25/02/2013 10:22

I've just done level one day 1.

I took a photo and some measurements before starting.

I have to say that my pelvic floor isn't as good as I thought it was Blush. I really had to focus on keeping it tight during the jumping jacks Blush

How achy have you all been after doing it?

I'm planning on doing about 10 days the moving onto level 2. Does that sound about right?

niceupthedance · 25/02/2013 11:41

Well done on getting to level 3 Allogator. I wonder why level 2 is seemingly harder?

I did level 1 day 3 today, my 2yo sat on my chest whenever I did abs... Not ideal.

Alligatorpie · 26/02/2013 08:09

Nice - At least the 2 year old added extra calorie burning!

I wish - i did 10, 10, and am doing 10 on L3 now.

Level 3 again, i am not sure why it seems easier, but it does. It also seems faster, so i actually think there is another circuit when i am done.

I am getting my summer clothes out today, that should be interesting, i was pg last spring / summer, so i will see what size i am compared to 2 years ago.

IwishIwasmoreorganised · 26/02/2013 19:41

I'm aching today after only doing one day!

Just letting my dinner go down then I'm going to do level one for the 2nd day.

Doubt I'll be able to move in the morning!

Wereonourway · 26/02/2013 20:38

How did the trying on of the clothes go alligator?
I must admit I'm finding it hard to focus on the DVD, and have to make myself do it on a night. Would be better doing it on a morning but with a 2yr old ds who hogs the telly watching postman pat it nigh on impossible.
The eating is going better. Still no junk. Trying to reduce portions etc.
I'm hungry at times but a glance at my flabby tum helps me to ignore or sip water rather than snack.
I also have a jogging partner in my dad, I'm sure he will push me not to stop and walk and to push through the pain Hmm
Well done for staring iwish!

DontForgetTheLightAlesLawrence · 26/02/2013 20:45

Hello ladies! Just finished day 2 of Level1, tis tough. And, arms and thighs aching.

Have been doing Cambridge diet for 6 weeks; thought I ought to start trying to tone up and get fit.

I have my ten-year-old shouting encouragement and telling me when I'm doing it wrong, so it's like having two PT's Hmm.

If When I do it tomorrow, it will be the longest I've ever stuck at a fitness DVD. Cheers!

DontForgetTheLightAlesLawrence · 26/02/2013 20:46

Abs not and aching. Tsk.

IwishIwasmoreorganised · 26/02/2013 20:55

Ah, we can be shred buddies Lawrence!

DontForgetTheLightAlesLawrence · 26/02/2013 21:18

Yay! Give it everything you got, I wish I was more organised. [ditto] Wink.

mummytowillow · 26/02/2013 21:29

OK Shredders i've done day three and i'm aching so much! How long will this last?

Had to force myself to do it tonight and its only day three Hmm

Also how much weight have you lost since day one?

IwishIwasmoreorganised · 26/02/2013 22:30

I'm on day 2. I used lighter weights today - I overestimated myself yesterday I think and my pecs have been very stiff and sore today!

The cardio bit is ok, but it's the abs and strengthening bits that I find tough. Lets hope it really does work and I'm fit to hit the beach in August!

I'm not going to weigh for a week at least. If I can tone up, especially around my midriff I'll be happy!

niceupthedance · 27/02/2013 07:38

Willow - I'm doing day 5 today and today is the first day I've not woken up feeling like I've been kicked down the stairs.

I was planning a rest day today but I don't feel too bad, so going to power through!
