Can't link to this from old thread but thought I'd start a new one as the old one was getting full and kept crashing my kindle.

OP posts:
DoubleMum · 14/02/2013 13:42

I can't drink any more tea I'm on the loo most of the time as it is!

BsshBossh · 14/02/2013 21:34

Made it through a particularly hard fast day - hard due to being housebound. But the plus side is that the builders have gone and we have our kitchen back which means home cooking! Work isn't completely finished (we'll be getting a new kitchen soon) but happy days for now.

Not sure if I'll bother weighing in tomorrow as TOM. I want to move back to monthly weighing again (which I did all of last year) so now might be the right time.

DoubleMum · 15/02/2013 07:11

Congratulations on having your kitchen back Bssh! I found yesterday very hard too, wonder why?

dinkydoos · 15/02/2013 10:53

Home cooking, how lovely for you Bssh, have been without kitchen before and it's so nice to get one back!
Second fast day for me here, had 2000 cals yesterday so I def need to.
Everyone is doing really well, all in our different methods, but all with same goal. Wore a skirt yesterday that haven't worn all winter as a bit snug, and fitted fine, it really gives you a boost actually.

Have a good weekend all

BsshBossh · 15/02/2013 11:06

Morning all. Hope it's as bright and sunny where you are as it is here in London. As it's my TOM and I usually put on a little water weight during it, I was hesitant to weigh in this morning. Plus I wanted to hold out for a month anyway... Ladies, I caved in to "weigh in Fridays" but I'm a little glad I did 'cause I've lost 1lb this week. That's a total of 52lbs since this time last year. I am now the same weight as I was 12 years ago when I was 30 :)

DoubleMum · 15/02/2013 11:25

How brilliant Bssh! You should be very proud of yourself. Smile
Good luck Dinky, stay busy.
I'm going away tonight so may not be around as not sure if the hotel has wifi. I have at last managed to get MFP on my Blackberry so hopefully I can log in at least.

juneybean · 15/02/2013 12:24

Well done Bssh!

WiseKneeHair · 15/02/2013 12:51

Afternoon Chiefs.
Well done on the skirt dinky, I've been unashamedly crowing about fitting into some smaller trousers on MFP Grin. I think seeing actually results like that are even more motivating than seeing the numbers on the scales go down although I want to see that as well
Weel done on losing despite the totm Bssh that's a fab loss in total.
Enjoy your weekend away Double I sometimes think not having a social life does make losing weight easier.Grin
Worked my calories out so I have enough left over for some chocolate and wine tonight, must stick to them now.

RandallPinkFloyd · 15/02/2013 18:35

Well done Bssh 52lb, that's bloody amazing!

BsshBossh · 15/02/2013 19:10

Thank you everyone :)

OMG I am troughing food today. I can't stop! Definitely a delayed reaction to TOM.

TeaMakesItAllPossible · 15/02/2013 19:32

Grin Bssh at your lb off and your troughing. But your own kitchen back. Fab. We lived in a building site to get a new kitchen for about five months it was hell but 2 years on every time I walk into it I smile. It is soooooo worth it.

Have a lovely time away Double

Dinky loving that skirt on you.

And Wise I am wearing a pair of better fitting trousers too. Hurrah for us both. Mine are capri pants and I haven't worn that style for years. They are neon orange, green and blue and so very inappropriate for my age but I don't care because they aren't tight and they were when I brought them three weeks ago in the topshop sale [mutton dressed as lamb emoticon]

Lizzylou · 15/02/2013 19:44

Evening Chiefs!

Bssh, how fab are you? That is an amazing achievement, well done Smile

Tea, those trousers sound fab! Well done.

I was supposed to be at body pump, but DH has gone out after work, so with kids and strangely trying to make work calls in the kitchen while my boys watch a wind down dvd. Why is it always on a friday that things are of utmost urgency??? Park run tomorrow then a girly lunch so all good.

Getting into previously too-tight clothes has to be the best feeling.

BsshBossh · 15/02/2013 19:50

Thank you Lizzy but the rate I'm troughing at the moment, I feel 52 lbs heavier! Oh I know it's just a blip today but I might skip breakfast tomorrow.

dinkydoos · 15/02/2013 19:55

Is it nearly tomorrow yet?...
Rather peckish.
Actually I'm not starving just a bit miffed its Friday night and having a fast day so no wine.
Will make up for it tomorrow Grin
Glad everyone in their Skinny trousers, love the sound of the Capri pants, tea!
Have a good park run lizzy!

Lizzylou · 15/02/2013 20:31

Dinky, you nutter, a fast day on a Friday??? Shock
Seriously, good for you, almost Saturday!

dinkydoos · 15/02/2013 21:11

Didn't have much choice lizzy, as only had done Tuesday so really needed another one before weekend. Nearly done now!

WiseKneeHair · 15/02/2013 21:19

Bssh you deserve your trough, just make sure it doesn't carry on until tomorrow.
Tea your trousers sound so much better than my boring grey work trousers.
dinky it's almost tomorrow, you can do it. Although you might not want to read my next bit Grin

Had enough calories for a couple glasses of wine and a few chocolates tonight. I'm appreciating them so much more than when it was an almost nightly occurrence!

GeekLove · 15/02/2013 21:21

Bssh that's great! 52lb is the weight of a primary school kid. If you feel your resolve weakening you could try and make up a bag with the weight and carry that for a while.
As for skipping meals I'd miss evening meal rather than breakfast.

No Shred yet but used the nice weather the turf the DCs on the trampoline remove detritus from the lawn and start upgrading the pot garden. That and the round trip to softplay meant I had apparently walked 5 miles that day. Will be Shedding on Sunday though.

WiseKneeHair · 15/02/2013 21:26

Geek I hadn't thought of it like that, but I want to lose about 35lbs and DS3, aged 4yo, weighs about 38lbs and I really struggle to pick him up. Shock that really puts it in to perspective.

BsshBossh · 15/02/2013 22:14

Yeah, DD is 4.5 and I struggle to carry her now. Goodness, imagine the weight on my knees! Thanks for the perspective Geek.

Lizzylou · 16/02/2013 10:04

Just done parkrun, nearly killed me! Ended up having a late night due to Dh coming home halfcut and chatty! Done now, getting ready for nice lunch out with friends. Happy Saturday!

BsshBossh · 16/02/2013 17:39

Wow Lizzy you deserve a good lunch out after all that running. Well done!

I skipped breakfast today but made it up with lunch out at So Sushi in Soho then a whopping big creamy mille feuille at Patisserie Valerie Blush. But I refuse to feel guilty because weekly cals are still on track Grin. DH is cooking Cambodian tonight - I am so happy our kitchen is back in action. Then Valentine's Day chocolates still not feeling guilty.

GeekLove · 16/02/2013 17:50

Well this is not getting any better calorie wise as I am having curry again as part of the reunion. Did exercise the boys, valet the car and trim the buddliea. Will need to be restrained tonight! I am still weighing in tomorrow though since I might hav had a week off but my body hasn't.
I am going to try 100 pushups on the app as a means of squeezing in more HIIt though.

WiseKneeHair · 16/02/2013 18:55

Well done Lizzy, I've found a Parkruns near me, just need to learn to run now. The better weather is making me think about it more.
Enjoy your food Bssh, no point feeling guilty, either eat and enjoy or don't eat at all. At least, that's what I'm trying to tell myself.
Don't get too hung up on the scales if they don't tell you what you want Geek, just get back on track when you can.

I decided to do Ripped in 30, level 3 today and after that thought it would be a good idea to do level 1 6 pack in 6 weeks as I haven't done it before! What was I thinking! Aching somewhat now. On the plus side, I have loads of calories left. Grin wine and chocolate again tonight.

juneybean · 16/02/2013 22:28

I just read the thingy Bssh posted in the mfp forums about eat more to weigh less and I'm wondering if I should be eating my BMR, I'm currently eating about 200 under this, sometimes more
