Can't link to this from old thread but thought I'd start a new one as the old one was getting full and kept crashing my kindle.

Well done on the loss Double and you should definitely log it silly woman
Good luck tea and bssh on the fasting.
I had forgotten that where I am working today has a Costa on site. I'm going to need to be restrained.

RandallPinkFloyd · 30/01/2013 14:25

I lost another 3lb. That's my first stone gone in 3 weeks! Boo yah!

I know it's going to massively slow down now but I'm still bloody chuffed!

DoubleMum · 30/01/2013 14:30

Fabtastic Randall!!

Lulabellarama · 30/01/2013 15:26

Wow Randall, that's amazing!
I'm all period-y today. Cramps, ditzy, tired and HUNGRY. Ive been good so far but my key time is when I get home, before I've got dinner prepared.

Im starting to find my evening cycle to pick up the kids MUCH easier. The first week or two I was nearly dead when I arrived, now Im almost perky. I cant wait until it's light when I leave though, Im not a fan of cycling in the dark. We've also got a rowing machine now and it's brilliant. My husband is making me have rest days in between in case I injure myself, but being able to jump on whenever I feel like is fab. We're just renting ours for now, it's £40pm, which is far less than a gym membership for both of us.

You're all doing so well, it's rather inspiring.

RandallPinkFloyd · 30/01/2013 15:37

I've still got a long way to go but somehow 2 stone doesn't feel anywhere near as insurmountable as 3 did Confused

Well done on the cycling!

namechanger11111 · 30/01/2013 16:26

Well done Randall that's an amazing loss in 3 weeks.

I made it to swimming although it did leave me very behind with work. I was starving afterwards and went to the coop for something for lunch but there was nothing that wasn't over 300 cals. I came home and made a massive salad with feta.

DoubleMum · 30/01/2013 16:42

You've reminded me namechanger I have feta opened in the fridge, must do something with it quick!
Feeling hungry. Trying to last until dinner.

dinkydoos · 30/01/2013 17:48

Amazing work chiefs! Was at a meeting 2 hours drive away today, but came home and shredded immediately to get it done. Amazing how relieved it makes you feel once completed.
Salmon, veg and sweet potato for tea, and maybe cheeky glass of red!

BsshBossh · 30/01/2013 18:21

Amazing loss Randall, well done for sticking it out.

Lulabella what a great idea to rent exercise equipment.

My fast is coming to an end in a coupleof hours and it's been fine overall. A few hungry wobbles here and there but it's nice to feel true hunger again and realise the world doesn't end. What's also kept me going is the thought that I can eat "it" (whatever the "it" that is temptimg me may be) tomorrow.

Tomorrow is a normal eating day but I can go up to 2273 calories if I want (might save some of the excess for the weekend though).

BsshBossh · 30/01/2013 18:26

I was going through my notes today and realised that I started dieting last February at 210lbs. I was 196lbs when I first started logging calories on MFP having lost some weight on Paul McKenna. So my actual total loss to date is 46 lbs. Another 19lbs to go, though I'll be very happy with 10lbs.

Onwards and downwards, hopefully.

DoubleMum · 30/01/2013 18:42

That's a brilliant loss Bssh.

RandallPinkFloyd · 30/01/2013 18:47

Wow, Bssh that's a fantastic loss.

We both started at the same weight too, I was 209.6lb. I've got an awful lot of catching up to do!

GeekLove · 30/01/2013 18:48

Bssh nice one

Need to fill in yesterday. Didn't have much of an evening meal but went out to celebrate my local feminists group 1st birhday so had some o the booze. Not much though as it is a weekday!

Weighed in on the wii fit and am 5lb down ! But that is more like 2lb net even though AF says hello. So you can loose wieght and eat. No plate croissants!1

10st 2 which means I am no longer overweight!

GeekLove · 30/01/2013 18:49

I meant chocolate croissants although they are right about the plate!

DoubleMum · 30/01/2013 19:10

Well done Geek!!
I need tactics for tomorrow. It's DS's birthday, and the ILs will be over. DS has requested Dominos pizza and there will be cake. Not bothered about the cake but I need to eat something and it's embarrassing to just eat ryvita or something with the ILs there. I have some filo and some coconut prawns I'm going to cook as nibbles, they're probably not too calorific.

BsshBossh · 30/01/2013 19:43

You're normal weight Geek - that's amazing. How much more do you want to drop?

DoubleMum can you have a slice of pizza and then make some salad (even if it's only you who eats it)? Fill most of your plate with the salad but eat a slice too. Skip breakfast or something to compensate or compensate tomorrow?

Lizzylou · 30/01/2013 20:12

Well done Geek and Randall, how fab!

I have weighed this morning and lost nowt. Gutted. Am still on, and belly v bloated but still. Will keep on though.

Have been to spinning tonight and worked my fat ass off. I saw some photos of the do last Friday and I look horrendous. I cried Blush. I look like a big fat bloated 50 yr old, let alone almost 40.

You are all doing so well! Feel like I am letting side down.

Onwards and downwards, it will happen. Must stay positive and stop being a big crybaby.

aJumpedUpPantryBoy · 30/01/2013 20:17

Well done to all those who are making such great progress.

I haven't lost any weight this week, but I'm relieved that I haven't gained any

Tabbykat · 30/01/2013 20:20

Stick with it Lizzy - you're doing so well with your food and loads of exercise, too. It will be doing you loads of good even if it doesn't feel like it. It's always worse when you're on, too.

I can't bear to look at photos of myself either but I bet that in real life you didn't look half as bad as you think. And it will come down. Think how proud you'll feel in a couple of months when it's your birthday and you look and feel more confident.

Lizzylou · 30/01/2013 20:37

Thanks Tabby.
I know I am being self-indulgent. It's just I am going away with DH next weekend (PIL's treating us to weekend away without children for our birthdays) and I really thought I'd have shed a stone by now when I started 4 weeks ago. Nevermind.

Pantry, we'll have a big loss next week, OK??

BsshBossh · 30/01/2013 20:41

Lizzy please please please try and stick with it. We've all had weeks of losing nothing then the downward movement begins again. The only thing I'm wondering, looking at your diary, is that you are burning a lot of cals with exercise but not eating alot of calories by comparison. Is your body holding on to fat because it thinks you're not going to feed it enough?

DoubleMum · 30/01/2013 20:49

Aww, Lizzy. Your body is holding on to water/fat but something will jog it along for sure. You too, Pantry.
I completely understand about the photos. I avoid photos at all costs but it was pointed out to me that if something happened to me, my children would barely have any photos of me to remember me by. Kind of makes you think. So there's another incentive for me to lose weight - so that I can stand being photographed.
Bssh I must be under tomorrow as I won't be for the rest of the weekend.

aJumpedUpPantryBoy · 30/01/2013 20:50

Lizzy - I feel just like you, it's half term in another week and thought I'd have lost more by then.
I've lost 4.5lb this month, it just seems soo slow, although realistically I know this is the way to do it.
Still, I've tried to comfort myself by thinking that if I had put on 4.5lb this month I'd be 9lb heavier than I am now!

GeekLove · 30/01/2013 20:55

Lizzylou - remember to pay attention to the time of day- it is ultimately the aggregate weight loss that counts.

I want to be 9st 7 but am not holding my breath. The nearer to your ideal weight the less far from equilibrium and the less force there is to get there.

Lizzylou · 30/01/2013 21:11

I eat my 1200 worth, I don't tend to eat my exercise cals though.

Hmm, perhaps that is where I am going wrong?

I dunno!

Anyway. I am NOT giving up. All this healthy living and exercise can only be doing me good. Fuck the scales!
