Can't link to this from old thread but thought I'd start a new one as the old one was getting full and kept crashing my kindle.

OP posts:

Bssh I like the shape apple and rhubarb crumble yoghurts.
I'm having beef stir fry tonight, followed by chocolate and wine. Grin
Just waiting for DH to get back from the gym.
I might then find out if he's having tomorrow off work. If he is, I think we are going out to lunch. I might suggest sushi as its relatively low cal and yummy. Any other suggestions? I want to enjoy it as we don't get chance very often, but I don't want to go too wild with the calories.

CarriedAwayAnnie · 24/01/2013 20:23

Thanks nilby, sounds delicious Thanks

BsshBossh · 24/01/2013 20:59

WiseKneeHair Japanese is always my first choice when eating out as it's a difficult cuisine to make at home. Sashimi is a great lo-cal, hi-protein option. A ramen bowl is perfect for these cold days.

I will try the crumble yoghurts.

Shred all the way ladies, do not "phone it in"!
Only a couple of pounds off my target now (wanted to lose 9 lbs) but screwed up big time today foodwise. I was off alcohol this month too and had a red wine and a cider. I don't even drink cider! Really want to succeed so plan to climb back on tomorrow.
Funnily enough, I'm enjoying the shred more than the diet.

DoubleMum · 24/01/2013 21:24

That dahl sounds lovely, will definitely try that. For some reason I have lots of tins of lentils and I need to do something to use them up!

RandallPinkFloyd · 24/01/2013 21:45

I did it!

You were all right, it wasn't as bad as I expected. I did the lower impact stuff with the blonde bird on the right and a bit jelly legged now but did it all in one go, no breaks. Huuurr.

RandallPinkFloyd · 24/01/2013 21:46

Well done not losing those last few pounds must be really tough.

dinkydoos · 24/01/2013 22:05

Go randall !
Let's try and egg each other on seeing as we both on day one. Blond gal has scary eyes, no?

RandallPinkFloyd · 24/01/2013 22:35

She is bit demonic looking but she's bloody skinny though!

Did you start it today too?

CarriedAwayAnnie · 24/01/2013 22:53

Her Abs are fab! Envy

juneybean · 24/01/2013 22:59

How many calories in a spoonful of cough mixture

nilbyname · 24/01/2013 23:01

Randall you did it!! Good for you!

June's I hope you feel better in the morning. Chicken noodle soup is the best thing x

RandallPinkFloyd · 24/01/2013 23:15

I feel fine now. I'm scared I won't be saying that in the morning.

spamm · 25/01/2013 03:20

I had a serious session with my personal trainer last night working on legs, and I coud hardly walk this morning. I knew I had worked hard, all the bloody lunges he had me doing. But I stil have not unwrapped the shred DVD, so I suppose I should get to that sometime. Well done Randall!

DoubleMum · 25/01/2013 07:28

Well done Shredders.
A busy day for me today so hopefully it should take my mind off food.

laurenamium · 25/01/2013 07:38

Weigh day Grin I've lost 4 and a half pounds this week! Which takes me to the lightest I've been since well before I was pregnant!

I'm going out tonight Hmm it's going to be one of those messy shots kind of nights but I'm going to drink vodka instead of wine and cider in an attempt to keep my calories down!

Lizzylou · 25/01/2013 07:39

Well done shredders!
You'll be spinning soon Randall!
Got to keep low cal today as have a bit of a do this evening.

DoubleMum · 25/01/2013 07:46

That's brilliant Lauren, well done!

WiseKneeHair · 25/01/2013 08:06

Well done Randall and Dinky for shredding. It can get addictive.
Fab loses not and lauren

DH has one to work this morning, but is coming back mid morning, so we are off out to lunch. Gives me time to MN exercise before he comes back.
Going to try to do two lots of exercise today, morning and evening, in an attempt to have a nice lunch and still stay under calories.

BsshBossh · 25/01/2013 08:24

Well done all you Shredders. It looks really tough from what I've seen on YouTube so, if you don't mind, I'll Shred vicariously through you Grin.

Good loss not, particularly as it's harder that close to goal weight.

Fantastic loss too lauren!

I weighed in this morning: According to the non-digital scales I've been using since I began this weightloss journey last year I've lost 4lbs since my last weigh-in on 10th January. But I bought a new digital set of scales yesterday and it puts me at a 2lb loss so I'll put that down in MFP. Still chuffed!

So 34 32lbs lost so far Smile.

saintmerryweather · 25/01/2013 08:50

Shredding isnt that hard after the first couple of days im just too lazy to do it every day :( have gone up a lb though so i need to be stricter with well done to everyonr who has stuck with it and lost some!

Lizzylou · 25/01/2013 10:14

Well done Lauren and Bssh!

fabulous work.

I too am going to have a G&T night and no wine Lauren

RandallPinkFloyd · 25/01/2013 10:26

In all honesty the shred was no where near as bad as it looks. It wasn't what I would call fun but the time went pretty quickly.

I'm seriously unfit but I feel fine this morning, a bit achey but nothing major.

I do love jillian!

juneybean · 25/01/2013 10:48

Great losses this week!

dinkydoos · 25/01/2013 11:01

Randall yes first time Yesterday after at least a years absence. It does really work, def pulls you in. Noticed you had put it down on mfp as something less strenuous than I had! I put it as circuit training as I had googled how many cals it burned and that seemed closest. Going to try and do 5 times a week...
