2lbs a week for 35 weeks- anyone in?

I have a pretty big move coming up in just under 9 months. want to be at my ideal weight by then. This will involve losing a minimum of 5 stones (70lbs). I have come to the conclusion that doing a crazy all or nothing weightloss plan isn't going to work for me. what ordinarily happens is that I lose loads to begin with, then it all goes to pot and I put it all back on again.
So... would anyone like to join me. My first target is 10lbs by the end of november. I will just be eating lower carb, less snacking, more exercise where possible (7 mo dd and dh who works shifts, so a bit of a challenge sometimes!).

What a busy day. All I managed to eat today was three scrambled eggs. Waiting for Ocado to come now so that I can make salmon and vegetables for dinner with a salad. I treated myself with a new haircut and a manicure.

How was your day?

How on earth have you survived on just 3 scrambled eggs? I would have eaten my arm! Hope ocado aren't late.
Good day food wise here, managed to resist the smell of frying onions at the fireworks!

Slept until late, had three scrambled eggs for 'brunch' and then left for a day at the hairdressers and nail studio... didn't come back until 6pm and then waited for Ocado to come and deliver our food. Had a large portion of salad and salmon for dinner with a spoonful of quinoa. I follow a low sugar, low carb (95% wheat free) diet because of my PCOS.

Today was my weigh in, I've lost 3.6 pounds this week, despite massive brownie and pizza overload on Saturday!! Yay! So now I'm 177.4 pounds.

Today I've fasted as I was challenged to do by some friends since the presidential election is tomorrow. So will feel ok if I indulge later in the week. Good luck to everyone weighing in on Thursday!

Well done isthis, great loss.
We were meant to be having last nights leftovers for tea tonight but I burnt it and there was only enough for one meal. Oops!
I now have to go to the supermarket, something I normally try to avoid with 2 little ones. Oh well, perhaps the stress will burn some extra calories.

My weigh in was tonight. I lost 1.5, was hoping for 2 but after 7 last week I can't really complain. I stuck to my plan all week though, no 'out of control' eating so I'm pleased with myself.
I keep telling myself I've got a bad week ahead but actually it's just 1 meal, I'll enjoy it and not use it as an excuse to over eat the rest of the weekend...hopefully!

I'm a serial weigher and I'm annoyed that I put a pound on today, but hopefully it'll still be a good loss come weigh in on Friday!

I've sat and had a good stern talking to from myself tonight. Tomorrow I'm going to get off my ever increasing bottom and do some exercise. DS will be wrapped up and strapped in to the buggy and we will go for a walk. The fact that I'm having to gear myself up for this has made me realise how lazy/much of a mess/hermit like I've become and enough is enough Blush.

Weighed myself today as I didn't have the willpower to wait until tomorrow. Weight is at 232 and AF arrived yesterday so not sure how to feel about it.
I shall report back tomorrow, good luck to everyone who is getting weighed.

Good luck for weigh in tomorrow ladies. I've felt crap today. Not sure if it's lack of vitamins or I'm coming down with something. Could be a coke zero deficiency Grin Wink

I've had two large slices of honey wheat toast with butter and jam + 2 eggs today and that's it. I'm feeling rather blah. Sad

Good luck to everyone weighin in today.

Today is my official start day :) and my weigh ins will be Fridays (if it's Thursday I may not have the motivation to be good on a Friday!)

I am at 224.4. Yikes.

I feel more motivated than I have in a long time.... But have a long way to go to actually start behaving myself and lose some fat.

Hi pinkninja it's so good when you're feeling motivated, if only that motivation would hang around. I'm so determined at the moment but I have a very long way to go, hoping my motivation keeps up.

Hi chocchip :) I know what you mean and I have a long long way to go myself.
Funny enough when I read my post back I laughed. I do feel motivated... In so far as I FINALLY did my first day of eating moderately in more than a year.... I finally felt motivated enough to at least make a start on "dieting" :)

It's tough to sustain any motivation.... I'm telling myself if I can just stick with it long enough to see the first results then I will get some more motivation to continue....

At the minute even "one day at a time" sounds like a lot... Its more like taking it "one hour at a time"

Made it through the day tho :) stayed within my calories and had no crack coke zero and 1 coffee.

Hope everyone else did well today :)

I seem to stop losing weight. I ate healthy all week (mainly salad and vegetables) and put on two lbs. awww lets hope that next week is going to be better.

No i am low carbing. Can't follow any other diet due my PCOS. However I got my period tonight, which explains the weight gain.

May I join you ladies? Weighed myself just now an am 272.8 lbs :(. Baby is now nearly 4 months and I need to stop talking about doing and bloody put down the cake(s). I am going to cut out White bread, rice, pasta bf will be having soup for one meal a day. I cut out coke when DD was born ( was addicted to it ) but need to start looking at everything else I consume.
