Right. This saves us clogging up the post-natal thread.

I'm 5'9" and when I was last weighed I think I was about 130kg:(

I'm going to get weighed tomorrow and clear out the cupboards on Sunday. I'm going to get the application for the leisure centre membership too, though I can't do that until September.

Sorry Aethel didn't mean to ignore you. Was too busy gobbling my Curly Wurly stash and hiding the wrappers Grin

Lost 2lb this week, so that is 14.5lb in total! So I can get my hair cut!! (When I reach the 10% target set by my lovely WW lady I'll get a mani/pedi hopefully in time for the family wedding in October)

I thought I'd had a terrible week, so this has given me a boost, I am trying to plan activities for everyday next to week to ensure at least an hour of walking with DS in the sling. Carrying an additional 17lb will burn off more calories than pushing the pushchair right?

Anyone seen the Warburton Wraps that are square? I made pizza last night using it as a base. Not bad. DH's looked better, with full fat cheese on it, but mine was tasty Grin

MissRee · 31/08/2012 12:50

Sorry, having a week off whilst on hols! Will be back on it with a vengeance come Tuesday Grin

hawthers · 31/08/2012 17:35

Early weigh in for me as at m and d's before heading to a wedding sans kids tomorrow. Lost nearly 2lbs this week by portion control and not much wine. Good considering DS1's birthday cake has been consumed most days.

aethelfleda · 02/09/2012 18:59

203 lb today... Slow and steady loss is what I'm hoping for, so this is great. Must be organised and try to do a bit of jumping around tonight when kids in bed ...

hawthers · 05/09/2012 07:40

Well done aethel slow and steady wins the race. I am def the tortoise as a wedding at the weekend meant some overindulgence so back to square one this week grrr

Kitty5824 · 06/09/2012 12:27

Hmphh. have put on 1/2lb. Sadly, I have been going to WW long enough (on and off since I was 14!) to know that this may well mean a HUGE loss next week. Fingers crossed.....

Kitty5824 · 06/09/2012 13:04

Just cheered myself up by doing my measurements.

I have lost 14lbs so far.

I didn't measure myself right at the start, but in 3 weeks I have also lost 4cm off my waist, 1cm off my hips, 2cm off my bust, 1cm off my upper arms, 1 cm off my thighs and have dropped from a size 20 to a size 18.

Am now off to dig out my size 16 jeans to see if I can at least pull them on yet Grin

Aethelfleda · 06/09/2012 19:11

Wow, well done Kitty, that is fab, what a boost!

Haven't got Out the tape but i probably should at some point...

hawthers · 08/09/2012 07:02

Have put on nearly a pound grump. Can't even cheer myself up with some cake. Going to get back on the slippages today and start shredding on Monday. Totally fed up.

Aethelfleda · 08/09/2012 09:18

((((hug)))) Hawthers, keep at it, we're all getting weeks where we don't lose. Just keep plugging away, every small step in the right direction will count eventually..

Kitty5824 · 08/09/2012 14:36

Time to shrug it off ladies, we CAN do it!

Seriously, get the tape measure out. Waist, hips, upper arm, thighs. Then measure again in a month.

MissRee · 08/09/2012 16:38

I put on a lb this week. Not too disappointed though as was expecting more after last week's naughtiness Grin

Back on it now!!!!!

hawthers · 14/09/2012 07:00

Drastic (ish) action being taken. DH has taken custody of the scales, is helping me with my portion size and I've been doing the 30 day shred every day together with speed walking (because somehow we are always running late) DS1 to and from preschool up hill pushing ten tons of pushchair. This all must be doing something, right?

Big weigh in on Saturday and I'm hoping for some good progress....

Kitty5824 · 14/09/2012 09:16

4lb off! I have now lost 18lb which is approx what DS weighs. How much of an incentive is that? To pick up your baby and think blimey, that's how much fat I was carrying.

Lots more to go, but am feeling invigorated.

Did a Zumba class for the first time yesterday. Not quite the spectacular failure I was expecting, but I'm not sure the teacher is all that good. That said, she let me bring DS and he was crawling around in the corner so not sure I can stop going IYSWIM.

Off to make some carefully balanced bolognese to form the base for many meals.....

Aethelfleda · 15/09/2012 18:52

201 lb this week: so a one pound loss. Think the cleaning is acting in lieu of formal exercise!! Pleased as really thought I would go up this week.

Wow Hawthers that sounds motivated! Good luck with it...And v well done Kitty, it's amazing to think how much lard we are carrying about. One of my friends actually went to the supermarket and had a friend take a photo of her with the same amount of lard in the trolley that she'd lost (and as it was over 5 stone that was a LOT of lard...)

hawthers · 15/09/2012 20:05

Good one aethelfleda on the loss - a loss is a loss.

I'm down 1.2lb (need to include the 0.2!) So good but not as good as I'd hoped mainly due to cheating slightly losing focus with my food. Looking back I had biscuits or shortbread or fudge every day. Hmm surprising I lost any really! Must do better with the food this week.

MissRee · 21/09/2012 17:53

Woohoo - another 3lb off this week. That's 2stone gone and half way to goal Grin

hawthers · 22/09/2012 09:28

Down 1.6lb so hit pre pg weight. Am def keeping on with the shred as its really changed my shape too.

Aethelfleda · 22/09/2012 19:23

Ooh, well done pe

Aethelfleda · 22/09/2012 19:26

Ooh, well done peOple!

2lb off, this week so now 199lb (14 stone 3) which is 1 stone 3 off from my heaviest, and two stone to go to target. Hooray! It's been sp nuts with the househunting/cleaning I was expecting a level off. Really need more exercise, must restart the shred (yes, I know I've said that already...)

Aethelfleda · 06/10/2012 10:39

Oops ,fell off hread. Lost a pound last week but none this week, so 198 lb (14 st 2). Am bleming it on AF and in no way related to the Belgian Chocolate Biscuit Box I bought from Aldi and have been snarfing whenever DH is back late from work

Back ache has knackered any attempts at exercise too. Baaaad Aethel, must do better!

How are you guys doing?

hawthers · 06/10/2012 10:49

After saying I was def keeping with the shred I've failed to do it every day and my eating has been crap too. All mainly due to f waking several times a night after sleeping through for a bit so just too knackered. Weight home up by 1lb so back on it this week and hope to shift a little more.

thekatsatonthematt · 25/11/2012 21:08

It's all gone a bit quiet on here!! Time for a concerted effort so we can eat what we want over Christmas. I've lost 2 stone since I joined ww at the end of July [grin
]

Aethelfleda · 01/12/2012 21:49

Ooh good going! I am in a plateau: current weight 13 stone 13, started at 15 st 6 and goal weight (eventually) is 12 stone. My word that's a 3 and a half stone loss to aim for....so I've managed 1 stone 7 off so far. Various things keep getting in the way of the exercise (backache/cold/earaches) but I will get back on the wagon again, if I do it ebough times I'll lose the weight!

Aethelfleda · 07/12/2012 22:47

Hooray! Finally got over the plateau and started to (slowly) lose again. Now 13 stone 11 (193 lb). Though I have just eaten an enormous curry...whoops....
