Right. This saves us clogging up the post-natal thread.

I'm 5'9" and when I was last weighed I think I was about 130kg:(

I'm going to get weighed tomorrow and clear out the cupboards on Sunday. I'm going to get the application for the leisure centre membership too, though I can't do that until September.

Ps Kitty, what sort of haircut? Is your hair long or short at the moment?

(I've just gone from mid back length to long mummy-bob inthe name of death to split ends. It's still too hot.)

aethel Hair is currently mid shoulder blade. Have spent since finding out I was pregnant growing out fringe. Soooo, think I'm going to get fringe cut back in and shorten to shoulder skimming length. DH will not be impressed Wink

I recently had my hair lopped from mid shoulder blade to chin length bob... BEST thing I ever did Grin so much easier to dry/style in the mornings and not so much of a sweaty icky neck in this heat!

Sounds great Kitty!

for Hawthers, that's fab!

I'm pleased as have managed to drop another 2lb this week, so that's now half a stone lost. I think a pound of that was sweat from last night....
I know it's going to slow down a lot but a least it's a really good start.

Well done on all of the weight loss!

Sorry I fell off the thread, then the digital scales were playing up. It was recording a difference of up to 5lb depending whereabouts in the bathroom the scales were! Anyway, new scales report another 2lb lost.

Arg. No motivation, no calories left in flipping app, too hot and icky to exercise, knackered and backache. Onwards. Tea. Do not eat contents of snack cupboard.

Less hot tonight (phew) and DH had to do some homework, so Pump It Up:Burn It, Lose It happened: (BPM section tonight). I do like the Ministry of Sound DVDs, they are good choons without too much patronising.

Oh god, I done a full weigh on our fancy scales, I'm 47% fat, I feel sick.

We had a really healthy vegetable broth for tea last night, and there's enough left for tonight.

Hope you got on ok at WW yesterday kitty.

Smile you noticed my silence then?

Stayed the same. Which is to be expected as I had my Mum's car over the weekend so walked nowhere!!!!

It still averages out at just over 3lb off per week since I started so I can't really complain.

Meal plans done for the week - lots of stir fry veg with chicken or fish. I only need 1.5lbs to have lost a stone.

[Sad] zero weight off

But zero weight on. Think I've not been quite as focused on the portion size. Must do better this week (and try to ignore the big birthday cake I'm about to make for DS1....)

Sigh: 1lb back on (now 207 lb). Bit gutted as I've done 25 days on the myfitnesspal and only went over the 1800 calorie allowance once (yesterday, and that was only 35 calories over). Doesn't add up as I've
done three workouts and a stackload of painting this week. I think I shall
Have to claim it's muscle, which weighs more than fat, right?

aethel oh bugger that is a total arse.

I'm not calorie counting as such but viewing my food intake as an AIBU post and imagining the flaming I'd get; AIBU to expect to lose weight if I eat five thousand biscuits.... And tbh this week I think I'd be legging it from mn! There have been the odd transgressions which I think have been every day. Hmm next week is a new week and muscle is vastly heavier than fat (i have bo such excuse)

Report
seven77 · 25/08/2012 17:29

Nothing lost here either. Has anyone seen my motivation, I think I may have left it near the biscuit jar.

aethel what an arse, bet you wish you'd bloody had that G&T now!

Righty ho ladies: this week (Sunday-Saturday) I shall be giving the cal counting a miss, and eating whatever I like BUT with careful portion control (so one sandwich for lunch, not three). I am allowing myself to be excessive at any point desired BUT any excessive meal must be followed by a smaller/lower cal type meal IYSWIM. And on with the exercise! And yes, this means G&T is allowed (slimline tonic of course)

Ten minute Solutions: Pilates tonight.
The woman doing it is very elastic and a tiny bit insane.

Non calorie counting is going OK, but annoyed by feeling twitchy for not counting!! Oh well, we'll see come the next weigh in. Am finding it harder to get the exercise slotted in with the three but I suppose that was inevitable.

Pump it up Powermix :2010 tonight: music fairly good, costumes "wacky" (purple lycra leggings and off-the-shoulder grey shapeless top, anyone?)
An unhealthy desire for fast bouncy squats...but fairly good impact when it got going.

And feeling better as a sneaky re-weigh now says 204 lb, much better!
Keep going, guys....
