Low Carb Bootcamp Bonanza Challenge - The Spreadsheet of Marvellousness

Here it is!

Thanks to FiddleDeFat for organising the spreadsheet.

Add yourself and put your starting weight in for today (don't touch any of the blue columns!)

Thankfully the scales have moved down again for me - only by a tiny amount, but I'm now at my lowest weight! Hopefully the stickiness of the last few weeks is now over. I'm targeting a 4lb weight loss over the next two weeks - I hope that's achievable. That would take me within a couple of pounds of my target of 9 stone 7.

nigella yes i agree i'm looking (if i do say so myself) and feeling good and although i could happily lose 4lb i think this is just me wanting to aim for a 'round number' weight of 9 1/2 stone rather than because i need to lose it! so i will see what happens over the next couple of weeks

if i stayed this weight for the rest of my life i would be very happy! i would definitely like to do some more strength training too so may well not lose any more pounds but lose some inches

BIWI · 17/07/2012 08:36

Personally, I think that this is actually and ultimately about reaching the right/desired body shape more than it is an actual weight. I know it's lovely to see a low/er number on the scales, but it's much more about how you look and what clothes you can/can't fit into.

I know for me that my massive psychological thing is about being able to wear a bikini on holiday without frightening small children away. I am hyper-critical of myself and won't let myself wear it if I feel in any way that there is too much flab on show Blush.

But that's why if I manage it in the next few weeks it will be a huge, huge, achievement for me - and one I've been trying to reach for about 10 years now!

Toning/training can only help in this regard, I think.

OP posts:
NigellasGuest · 17/07/2012 09:36

I'm interested in the toning/training thing.
I was doing the Shred, but haven't for 10 days now because a) I had a complicated week last week and fell out of the early morning shred habit and b) I am bored with the Shred!

I have a niggling suspicion that it's too aggressive as well. It is the type of workout I was doing when I was 9 stone and kinda haggard looking. This time round I am thinking something more gentle might be appropriate but obviously I want results! Also I've recently been diagnosed with rosacea and I do feel that a work out that gets you red in the face isn't the best thing for me anymore. (I'm currently 10 and a half/ 10 and a quarter having lost half to 2 quarters of a stone since starting this WOE about ?6 weeks ago)

p.s. I guess you've all seen that a low-carb thread in Chat is in discussions of the day!

FiddleDeFat · 17/07/2012 15:54

I've quickly updated the spreadsheet for Week 13:

Biggest Loser: MissBehivingUndertheMistletoe and TooImmatureTurtleDove, each with 4lb loss.
Biggest Total Loser: still my DH with 31lbs lost
Biggest Total %age loser: GreenEyesandHam with 14.5% body weight lost.

Well done losers.
Hoping for impressive BBC losses next week!

I'm off on an impromptu camping trip now, just one night, so am off to pack the bacon and eggs. And umbrella!

BIWI · 17/07/2012 18:45

Camping? Are you mad?! Have a great time. And I really, really hope that it doesn't rain!

Undid all of my good work over weekend and gained two pounds, the same bloody two I had slowly struggled with for the last month Sad

I don't post at all very much but just want to say a big thank you BIWI, this really has been a big change for the better (aside from last weekends huge slip up ahem ahem)

Bootcamp bonanza here I come!

Fourfingerkitkat · 18/07/2012 21:01

I have just made alterations to my records on the Spreadsheet - now I realise my scales were wrong all along (since I've bought new ones which I know are accurate Grin) - so I have taken 4lb off every single weight I've entered since I started. I thought this would be better than entering the correct weight on Monday only because that could mean I'd look like a really good loser through no imput of my own!f (especially as I feel like I am genuinely losing again as well).

SharonGless · 23/07/2012 07:15

Morning 2lbs off and spreadsheet updated

More alcohol than was anticipated so back on the wagon again! Other than that have done well food wise

MrsHerculePoirot · 23/07/2012 08:41

Morning everybody - not sure if I ever added myself last week
But will do so later when on laptop. I started BBC at 16 st 5 and am now 16 stone 1/2!!! I am determined to get under 16 stone over the next week!!!!

WillieWaggledagger · 23/07/2012 08:54

wow mrshp that's fab

1lb down for me which is pretty good given recent weigh-ins, but does mean the 4lb overall i would like to lose over these two weeks is looking unlikely!

BIWI · 23/07/2012 09:34

Only half way through, Willie - just be super strict this week.

Well done, MrsHP!

OP posts:
GreenEyesAndHam · 23/07/2012 10:58

Well done losers

I'm a STS this week

TooImmatureTurtleDoves · 23/07/2012 13:58

Willie, I'm the same - wanted 4lbs off by next week but have only lost 1lb this week, grr!

Didn't know I was tied for biggest loser last week, though - yay! Belated boost. Congrats, MissBeehiving!

WillieWaggledagger · 24/07/2012 07:57

oh i know biwi and tooimmature but i'm greedy for a good result!

i think my cheese intake has been slowly increasing so i'm cutting down from today

FiddleDeFat · 24/07/2012 22:07

Spreadsheet now tidied up!

Biggest Loser of the Week: Me Blush
After falling off the diet for a week or so, and then restarting, I think my body thinks it's week one again - so whoosh went the pounds I had just put on. Yay!

Biggest Total Loser: still my DH at 31lbs

And Biggest Total %age Loser: still GreenEyesandHam with 14.5% of bodyweight lost.

We've lost 35lbs between us this week, with an average loss of 0.6lb. To date, we have a combined loss of over 32 stones.

There are a few gaps in the spreadsheet so maybe some people are waiting until the two weeks of Bootcamp are up before weighing-in. Looking forwards to some good results for everyone next week.

BIWI · 25/07/2012 09:15

Brilliant, FiddleDeFat - well done you!

And as for your DH, well that is just amazing. He must be dead chuffed.

I'm definitely waiting for the end of the two weeks, although from my sneaky look at the scales this morning, I doubt I will make my 4lb target Sad. I'm definitely at a sticking point at the moment, but too much pink cava at the weekend was evidently not helpful!

OP posts:
emmak86 · 25/07/2012 14:29

starting weight for today : 90.2 kilos

started this bootcamp last week and was 92.6 kilos...would like to lose 2 stone altogether so ive got a long way to go yet!

em x

FiddleDeFat · 26/07/2012 00:41

Hi emma, I've put you in the right bit of the spreadsheet now - you're having a good first week! Sorry you got missed out.

FiddleDeFat · 26/07/2012 17:09

Emma, I've just noticed that you've also lost 5.2lbs this week. So you can have the title of Biggest Loser of the Week. Smile

BIWI · 27/07/2012 10:04

Wow! Brilliant - well done, emma!

OP posts:
emmak86 · 27/07/2012 20:36
