docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AvRbpLOgvgpTdDQ3NGxMNV9ETjJDaVRYYW1IZlFtYVE&pli=1#gid=0

Not a good result for me - hopefully others will do better and keep the overall total losses high!

Green eyes that is fantastic well done

SharonGless · 25/06/2012 23:15

Green eyes that is amazing! Well done you should be really proud of yourself. I started at same weight and have lost 3 inches but want the rest to come off. Just started a core plan to tackle it. Have you been training or just sticking to woe?

smokinaces · 26/06/2012 06:57

Well done greeneyes!!

GreenEyesAndHam · 26/06/2012 07:37

Thanks all

No, really it's just been this WOE and daily walks Blush although I've picked up the exercise in the last three weeks as toning everything up is my next main aim.

I do think some if the belly inch loss is directly down to cutting out wheat- I'm now assuming that I'm wheat intolerant as the difference I feel is astonishing

sybilfaulty · 26/06/2012 07:47

Well done Green eggs. What a great achievement.

Sending out a distress call here. I usual weigh once a wee but decided to have a sneaky peak this morning. I was perfectly behaved food wise all day yesterday but today I have put on FOUR pounds! It doesn't matter if I continue to fall come WI next monday but what is going on? I honestly haven't cheated, am not due TOM for another 10 days and can't really understand why I can get into my small bra and nearly into my small trousers but still put on 4lbs.

Hellllllllllllllllllpppppppppppp! Please!

WillieWaggledagger · 26/06/2012 08:02

sybil i have been daily weighing for the last few weeks, and i can easily go up by 3-4lb at some stage during the week but end up with a net loss by the time official weigh-in day comes by. i don't know why - it seems a bit like a bouncy ball dropped onto the floor which bounces a few times before settling

don't worry too much, just keep on with what you're doing and drink shitloads of water

BIWItheBold · 26/06/2012 08:59

Willie is right, your daily weight fluctuates a lot, and often for no apparent reason. Many of us are daily weighers - for me, it keeps me on track. I know that when I stop weighing daily, it's because I know I've not been eating/drinking as I should. But - you do have to get used to the scales showing a gain as well as a loss!

And it may seem obvious, but presumably you are weighing yourself first thing in the morning, naked, and before you have had anything to eat/drink (and ideally after you've been to the loo!)?

And it is only Tuesday!!!

thanks greeneyes that is really really encouraging, I'm going to stick your stats on the fridge!

Shimbo · 26/06/2012 09:38

Weighed this morning and 1.9lb down from last week. This is after eating slightly more fat apart from that I haven't been 100% perfect so I'm happy!

I have been doing Bootcamp for 6 weeks now and have lost a total of 8lb and it has been averaging 1lb off a week. Very close to target now, am at 115lb and want to just try for another couple of lb.

sybilfaulty · 26/06/2012 09:57

Thanks girls. It is first thing and naked, before eat / drink etc but after a wee. I know there will be fluctuations, it;s just that I feel so much slimmer! And I can get into things so I am not deluded (well, not very) so I was just a bit shocked.

I had 4 l of water yest and already 1l today. I will keep on keeping on and pray for a loss on monday.

Thanks for the advice and support.

GreenEyesAndHam · 26/06/2012 10:55

Roffle @ being stuck on fridge Grin

Just on the water guzzling, I noticed that in IPD they do mention that drinking too much water can lead to water retention (as well as too little)

Seems a bit 'damned if you do blah' to me but worth bearing in mind if you are drinking lots but seeing gains?

BIWItheBold · 26/06/2012 11:02

sybil - the other important thing is to measure yourself as well. The scales aren't always accurate as measurements/clothes. (As you are discovering Smile)

OP posts:
Shimbo · 26/06/2012 11:05

On measurements I had to get my DH to punch two more holes in my belt and it is still a bit too big Grin. I am so shocked (in a good way obviously!)what a difference going without carbs has done to my stomach!

WillieWaggledagger · 26/06/2012 11:57

greeneyes I am starting to wonder whether one of the reasons I am heavier during the week and lighter at weekends is because when I weigh during the week it's usually before 6am, whereas at weekends it's about 8-9am, so I have had extra time to lose water weight from consumption the day before iyswim

i might have to experiment and get up before 6am on saturday to weigh, then check later. or maybe not.

CobOnTheCorn · 26/06/2012 13:02

I've put 3lb on but I completely deserve it. I ate quite a bit of chocolate ;ast week and I fellt like shit so cheered myself up with a bit more choc. I struggling to get back on the wagon now but will keep trying.

GreenEyesAndHam · 26/06/2012 13:38

I wonder if there's something in that Willie, I follow the same pattern..

BIWItheBold · 26/06/2012 13:44

Never mind, Cob - it happens to the best of us!

Make sure you've planned what you're going to eat - and that you have planned to eat extra yummy low carb things, and don't forget the water.

TooImmatureTurtleDoves · 26/06/2012 13:53

Yy - I can weigh myself at 6am when baby wakes up, then re-weigh at 9.30 after we've both had another nap and I'll be a lb lighter. Naturally, I go with that weight!

FiddleDeFat · 26/06/2012 19:29

Spreadsheet updated:

Biggest Loser of the Week: catinboots with a fab 5lbs loss.
Biggest Total Loser: my DH again (yawn) with 29.8lbs

Well done everyone!

FiddleDeFat · 26/06/2012 19:32

Oh, and a total of 32 and a half stones lost between us over the last 10 weeks. Now for the next 10 weeks....Smile

BIWItheBold · 26/06/2012 19:34

What have I started?! Grin

OP posts:
FiddleDeFat · 26/06/2012 19:36

Grin But do you want to stop?

GreenEyesAndHam · 26/06/2012 19:39

Well done everyone!

FiddleDeFat · 26/06/2012 19:48

Actually, BIWI, you have been fab. Thanks

There's 50 of us on the weigh-in sheet and another 60 in the archive, so that is a lot of people you have helped. I know I was just starting on this woe when you first floated your Bootcamp idea, so it came along at the perfect time for me. There's sometimes a bit too much talk on the threads of all the sweet things I am no longer allowed to eat, but on the whole it has been wonderfully supportive. And it's just nice to know you are not the only one in the country eating half a pound of butter for tea!

Cheers Wine

WillieWaggledagger · 26/06/2012 19:52

Embarrassingly I am stills gain the highest % loser despite losing nothing!
