Enter your latest weight in the spreadsheet

I've finally managed to wrestle another half pound off, and am reporting in today at 9.13 and 1/2 (again!). I don't know what's going on with me. I have weeks of eating really well, keeping the alcohol down, going to the gym for brutal workouts and nothing happens. I go away for a long weekend and drink Rome dry, then drop. I have had another partying weekend (cricket club dinner on Friday, 50th birthday/wedding party last night) and drop again!

Drinking wine must be good for me!

Grin

Anyway, I'm starting this thread now because I'm off very early in the morning to Athens. I am there until Thursday evening with work, and managing to fit in a day for me on Thursday for a spot of sunshine/sightseeing.

Only 0.4lb this week and that's probably just normal fluctuation. I did have pasta last weekend so blaming that. Also blaming that for sudden appearance of spots. Will keep plodding along as can now zip up my target jeans though it's not pretty in the mirror.

mummyduff · 11/06/2012 16:21

Well done all you loosersGrin

Livelongandprosper my home is now back to normal and I have had an apology after 2 days of DD not speaking as she felt I'd over reacted!Confused & Angry
It's nice to hear its not just my child who has done something like this and I know what you mean, I dread ever leaving her again alone(but will have to at some point)
Fingers crossed for both of us that it never happens againSmile

Hepsibaaah · 11/06/2012 19:38

Well!! down by 2lbs!
After a weeks' holiday, weighed in this morning to find I have hit my target of 130lbs!! Amazed, really didn't think I'd get this far. So pleased with this, nice gradual loss over a period of time, and I have to say I did cheat whilst away - not by much, but the wine was just too hard to resist :D.

So, now it's maintenance. Ideally I'd like to hit 9stone - 126 lbs - and stay at that, but I think I'll start to look gaunt if I lose more (that's only on the face of course, tummy, arms and butt could all do with looking gaunt!).
Thank you again to BIWI! Thanks

GreenEyesAndHam · 11/06/2012 19:52

Well done everyone, especially Radio and Hep for reaching target- woohoo!

I'm a STS this week, but its TOTM for me so not too bad

(I never say 'TOTM' in RL btw)

switchtvoffdosomelessboring · 12/06/2012 09:39

Sorry I missed last weeks weigh in, I was a away camping. Delighted to have lost another 2 pounds (it may be more but I'll keep the extra for next week just incase it was a blip on the scales).

Ilovemyteddy · 12/06/2012 15:37

Another 1lb off for me so 180.2 this week - that's 44.2lb off since starting this WOE.

Am on holiday for the next two weeks so will post if we can find a WIFI zone

londonone · 12/06/2012 19:19

Just back from a week off the wagon on holiday in the states. Put on a few but confident it is simply the glycogen going back on so will be boot camping for the next few weeks :)

SharonGless · 12/06/2012 20:23

Ilovemyteddy- that's amazing! When did you start on this woe? Well done to all the losers

Londonone- i put on 4lbs but got it off in 2 weeks. It won't take long. Did you enjoy your hols?

Ilovemyteddy · 12/06/2012 20:28

Sharon - I started lc-ing on 15th Jan. My aim is to be 10.5st by Christmas.

SharonGless · 12/06/2012 20:33

44lb is amazing in 5months-well done!! Do you feel it has been hard to stay on the WOE..I feel amazing on it. My skin is better, bloating issues have gone, I can still have a glass of red wine if I fancy it. Just wondering how you feel long term.

Ilovemyteddy · 12/06/2012 20:56

Not hard at all, Sharon. I'm not a drinker, so the lack of Wine hasn't been an issue for me. I was a total grazer - eating crap all day, and an emotional eater. I rarely get hungry between meals now and, even though I am going through major stress at work at the moment, I have stayed away from the carbs...although I'm smoking too much Sad

The hardest thing I've found is to be organised with what I am eating. I work full-time (DCs all grown up and away from home) and sometimes I don't have time to cook stuff in advance. So my lunches (which used to be a sandwich, crisps and a choc bar) often end up being a bag of lettuce and a couple of slices of ham/corned beef from M&S. Not ideal from the cutting down on processed food POV but at least the weight is still coming off.

My skin and hair are better, as are my nails, which used to be brittle and flaky. The best thing is the amount of new clothes I have had to buy Grin Lots of pretty things for my holiday, and all in sizes 14-16 when I was a 20 before.

FiddleDeFat · 13/06/2012 11:22

Okay, I'm back and have caught up and updated the spreadsheet.

We have a new Biggest Loser this week: Ms Rinsky with 3.2lbs lost. The Biggest Loser to date is still my DH (oh, how he loves that title - not) and the person who has lost the biggest %age of their bodyweight is WillieWaggledagger for the second week in a row.

Well done everyone.

I see there are quite a few newbies who have joined us this week so I'll head over to the chat thread to try and encourage them to join the spreadsheet. That will surely up our figures, what with all the marvellous first week losses. Grin

NigellasGuest · 13/06/2012 11:37

congrats to all the losers!
if you haven't lost, keep going! it's a marathon not a sprint!

BettySuarez · 13/06/2012 12:01

Not sure how this works? Started to fiddle around witgh the spreadsheet and that got scared that I might bloody break t so can I post my stats here and kindly ask someone to add me?

Weight yesterday was 247 (I am tall and big-boned Grin)

This is my first week infact today is day 1

Thanks ladies Smile

mindgone · 13/06/2012 12:09

Hi there, another newbie here! I started on the 27th may, at 15st 2lbs, and was 14st 7lbs on 10th June ! But am very happy to change my weigh in day to a Monday, to keep in with the rest of you. Thanks so much to the fab organisers of these threads, I feel so much more supported even from reading your threads before joining in! Thanks

FiddleDeFat · 13/06/2012 12:48

Have added BettySuarez and mindgone to the spreadsheet. Welcome!

mindgone - what was your weight after your first week? Ive split the difference and put in 207lbs for 4th June. But if this is not accurate, could you change it please? Looks like you may be in line to oust MsRinsky as biggest loser of the week.

FiddleDeFat · 13/06/2012 12:51

I'm tallish and 'big-boned' too BettySuarez. I keep gulping at all the 9 stone something folks on here trying to lose weight. I will never be that small and think if I get to 12 stone I will be very happy indeed.

Ilovemyteddy · 13/06/2012 13:24

Fiddle - I know. I think I was 9st when I was 9 years old Grin I can't imagine what I look like if I was that weight...

mindgone · 13/06/2012 14:07

Ooh, me too! I'd be delighted with 13stone! Grin Fiddle, thanks, but I think it was more like 6 the fist week, and 3 the second! Can't push anyone out on my first day here!

mindgone · 13/06/2012 14:15

I tried to change my entry on the spreadsheet, but could only change the loss for my first week, not the second, but my total is correct, thanks.

BettySuarez · 13/06/2012 19:03

Well here's to us lovely big boned ladies Grin I too am aiming for 13 stone although I am finding it hard today Sad
