Well heres to another week.

Pity I haven't tried harder I could of lost at least 12lbs if an effort had been made. Unfortunately even less effort has been made this week and I've stayed the same. Total Grand loss from the start? 3 lb, 0/10 for effort.

im going to guess at 11st.

i was 11st 4lbs on friday, and have been hit with this sicky nast horrible bug and havent eaten since saturday.

will know for certain on friday, but as it stands at the moment, i reckon its a good loss!

busywizzy · 07/02/2006 09:56

10st 4lb here so that's another 2lb loss - yippppeeeee Really struggled this week so wasn't expecting great things but I obviously wasn't as bad as I thought.

I think a lot of it is that eating more healthily is becoming 'normal' so I don't notice that I'm being good most of the time.

Good luck everyone else.

melrose · 07/02/2006 09:57

I ahve been rubbish and stayiong up with this, sorry! ...but v excited as weighed myself today and 10 4 - about 5lb lighter than at beginning of Jan. Going to really try and be healthy for next 2 weeks as off on hols on 24th!

JenumGeranium · 07/02/2006 09:58

I have stayed the same at 11 12. I didnt expect any loss to be honest as I have not been very well so have not really tried this week.

I have had a dodgy tummy since yesterday now, so maybe I can expect a loss next week .

Well done and good luck everybody!

busywizzy · 07/02/2006 09:58

Well done JARM and Furball. What you do running this thread is so helpful. Is there anything we can do to help you?

Thanks for the help busywissy - I really will try hard this week, although it's not for 1 week is it? thats the problem, for 1 week it's easy.

Melrose - Blimey, I've got your start weight at 11st 5 thats 1 stone 1 pound loss for you altogether!!! Excellent.

busywizzy · 07/02/2006 10:21

JG hope you feel better soon.

Melrose - fantastic

pindy · 07/02/2006 10:34

Oh dear - stayed the same 10st 10lbs, must do better next week!! Was DH birthday on Friday (50) so there has been rather alot of celebrating/commiserating going on!!!!

melrose · 07/02/2006 10:35

Thansk. Had Beetroot and grapefruit juice for brekkie - how healthy is that???! Actually surprisingly nice

unicorn · 07/02/2006 10:59

no weight change here I'm afraid.

Must get exercising... I need to lose 2 stone.

HeavyBee · 07/02/2006 11:43

One pound loss for me, I think that makes it 9 stone 11 now. It's taken me three weeks to lose that pound, so I'm relieved that it's still working, even if it's slow. If it hadn't been for weighing in today I'd probably have helped DH with the Bombay mix yesterday evening, so thank you everyone! I know it's only three pounds in five weeks but it's still the equivalent of a bag and a half of sugar I'm not carrying about with me. Furball, that's the same for you! A friend of mine who's dieted in a big way looked at my two DDs (5 & 7 yo) and realised she had been doing the equivalent of carrying them about all the time. No wonder her knees were feeling better.
Good luck to everyone.

CorrieDale · 07/02/2006 12:02

Not sure if I've lost 1lb or not! Depends on where the scales are put (yes, 0.5cm really does make that much difference!) So as to save disappointment next week, I'll say I haven't lost anything this week and hope for the best next. Slow but steady does it... [tries to stop hankering after Melrose's superb weightloss ]

sylvev · 07/02/2006 14:16

Hi all, still the same here! 11.7. Definitely have to start exercising. Well done everyone. Has anyone lost a stone yet?

vicmum · 07/02/2006 14:35

Hi all,

I am down to 11 st 1lb... was hoping to make it under 11 st but that will have to wait until next week . Well done to everyone so far and congrats to Melrose - the first to lose a full stone...

teacups · 07/02/2006 18:09

I am afraid that it's no change here. Very stressed at work and also everyone in our house is poorly with this cold virus thing so am doing a lot of comfort eating.

Well done to all who are sticking with it properly. I will make a huge effort this week to see if I can be 11 something rather than 12 something next week.

me23 · 07/02/2006 18:23

I'm down to 10st 5, last weigh in i ws back to my original 10st 7 so at least somethings off, although 2lb since beginning of jan is disappointing but I havent tried as hard as I could have! Will try harder from now on, target weight loss for next week 3 lbs

Dingle · 07/02/2006 18:24

No loss here AGAIN! Still feeling really rotten, this flu lurgy just won't shift.

hullabaloo · 07/02/2006 20:26

1 lb ON here (but it was a FABULOUS party) Anyway nothing on this week so back to business> Exercise is definitely the key for me -just a shame I hate it so much!!

tortoise · 07/02/2006 20:41

13st for me now.Thats 3lb off.Hope nxt week i will b under the 13st! I make a smoothie for breakfast and lunch. It has cucumber, celery, pinapple, spinach, lime, apples and avacado in it. Surprisingly nice and dont very often feel hungry between meals when i have the smoothie.Never thought i could go without my crunchy nut cornflakes for breakfast!well done to all the losers and good luck for the nxt week for all.

Smalline · 07/02/2006 21:25

2lbs off this week (the 2 I put on last week)! AF finally turned up on Sunday so I am in the middle of that at the moment. Managed to have 3 alcohol free days last week and 2 this week so far. Would love to say bye bye to 12 stone next week but I won't hold my breath. Well done everyone give yourselves a pat on the back! Congratulations Melrose on being the first to lose a stone.

Dustanyone · 07/02/2006 21:30

1.5lb loss for me, pleased because I consumed rather a lot of alcohol on Friday night!

chickenrice · 07/02/2006 21:57

Lost less than half a pound so I suppose it's no change.

MrsSpoon · 07/02/2006 21:59

No loss here this week either, I was doing well but seemed to acquire a social life towards the second half of the week. Just glad I didn't put any on.

Well done to everyone else!

bubblerock · 07/02/2006 22:08

No change here - premenstrual though and I wish it would hurry up, why is it always delayed when you're waiting for it???
