I was thinking it would be enormously helpful if there was a thread entirely devoted to 'what you've eaten today....'

Also include which phase you're on. I'm a Dukan newby. Having done Atkins, WW, Slimming World, WLR !! I successfully lost 2 1/2 stone last yr but since the Summer a stone has crept back on. Sad

Smile ta muchly Thanks

Ok, having a dukan PV phase again for a couple of weeks as put a couple of pounds on over the winter and saw lent as a good time to be on restricted diet!

Yesterday:
Breakfast 2 egg omelette, 100g fat free natural yoghurt 10g oatbran
Lunch Salad tomato cucumber pepper lettuce, plus 125g quark, 50g smoked mackeral, 25g smoked salmon and 50g salmon.
Snack 1: 65g salmon
Snack 2: 60g turkey
Dinner: 125g chicken breast fillet and 100g each spinach, broccoli and cauliflower

Hope that helps you - I hate PP days only do on Thursdays. And even then only occasionally. I snack on protein though rather than veg. Just have veg at lunch and dinner with protein.

I just started the Dukan diet today ? I have a size 10 dress I need to get into in 3 weeks!

Todays menu:

1 egg scrambled and a coffee

packet of Moroccan spiced chicken from waitrose, fat free organic vanilla yoghurt with a tablespoon of oatbran

more chicken for dinner

foreverondiet · 27/02/2012 14:02

Watch out the vanilla yoghurts - all the ones I found had some added sugar.

HeinzSight · 27/02/2012 14:03

So far I've had scrambled egg and salad with lettuce, cucumber, peppers, beetroot and cherry tomatoes. Are cherry toms allowed in attack phase? Confused

Just about to do a food shop so will def get some smoked mackerel - yum!

No veg allow in attack phase! But I don't really believe in protein only days as I think too faddy.

HeinzSight · 27/02/2012 14:14

Is there a recommended website? I've been reading conflicting 'rules'

OP posts:

And dairy is limited, some places I have seen 600g other places 1kg.

I eat mainly cottage cheese, and natural yoghurt mainly greek which is lower in carbs than say milk.

MissWooWoo · 01/03/2012 13:17

quick question - can I eat very low fat philly during attack phase?

IWantToGoToThere · 01/03/2012 13:27

MissWoo I think the rule in Attack is 'if it's not on the list, then don't eat it'. Attack is hard going but it's not meant to be for very long so should therefore be do-able. I think in terms of nutritional content, it can't be much different from low fat yoghurt which is allowed. But for me, the ultimate diet-negotiator, I stick to the rules rather than allow myself to bend them as if I start playing it fast and loose with the rules I will inevitably end up not actually following the diet, stop losing weight which frustrates me and then stop altogether.

winkle2 · 01/03/2012 13:46

MissWooWoo dairy products are allowed if they are less than 10% fat.

MissWooWoo · 01/03/2012 13:55

hurrah! it's 5% fat

winkle2 · 02/03/2012 14:52

Think I had too many eggs, 3 !
Drank lots of water and two cans 7 up free
