I started being watchful and mindful last Monday and today I woke up 4.5 pounds lighter.

60 more to go Hmm Grin

Anyone want to weigh in on a Monday?

Anybody? Surely somebody else must be weighing on a Monday ?

Strangely i couldn't find this thread when I looked for it a few days ago!

Anyway true to form first week was good (lost 5 pds), and then for some reason I think I need to treat myself as I've 'suffered'.

On Monday weighed exactly 12 stone - so that's 6 pds altogether now - just 39 to go!

Finding it difficult to stick to 1200 cals a day and still haven't done any exercise.

Been watching 'Obese - A Year to Save my Life' - those people are unbelievable.

Maybe if I had that personal trainer, Jessie, I would find the inspiration :o

Well done WhereAreTheCakes - a loss is a loss keep telling myself that because of my measley loss this week I've lost a pound after last week's 6lb. I'm still doing "healthy eating", better quality/reduced portions meat/carbs/increased fruit & veg. Exercise is not happening here; hurt knee over three weeks ago, impact doesn't agree with my knees & am looking for a cross trainer!

Good luck any one weighing in today!

2lb off this week - better than I thought it might be; can't fathom how I can be really, really good & only lose 1lb & slightly less good & lose 2! Hmm

member · 12/03/2012 09:30

Sorry, still here using this thread as a reminder of what I've lost when!

2lb off despite dd1's very chocolatey/ganachey birthday cake being consumed on more than one occasion!!

21lbs off in total - want to get to 28 off by easter hols if poss, not looking great but will keep trying!

member · 19/03/2012 13:40

Another 2lb off - 23lb off, 57 to go!

member · 26/03/2012 11:36

3lb off, hoping for another two next week to bring me up to 2 stone off but suspect some indiscretions this week will show next week!!

member · 09/04/2012 10:53

Didn't post last week, lost 1lb then & 1lb this week so have now lost 2 stones in total.

LaurieFairyCake · 09/04/2012 11:21

I have entirely lost my weight loss way the last few weeks - so I'm going to join weightwatchers.

I had a pedicure the other day which was lovely and the beautician was waxing lyrical about the new pro points system.

Even if I don't join I am back on the wagon today as I ate an Easter egg yesterday so have had enough choc Grin

Well done to all of you

Lost 2stone 5lb since 16 Jan; still have 3stone 5lb to go. Stayed the same this week & I know exactly why! This is a "get a grip" note to self!!

Well done for getting back to it Laurie.

buttonmoon78 · 30/04/2012 11:13

Can I join?

I am 14st 2lb. I want to lose 51lb (not really that arbitrary - I'd like to be 10st 7lb!) in time for Christmas.

I've done Slim Fast, WW, SW, cabbage soup et al and so I'm just going for the 'eat less move more' school of dieting this time. Hoping to go out for a run tonight. A couple of years ago I could run 3m but now I'd struggle to get to the end of the road.

I've never been slim - always chunky and have hovered around 13/14st for the last decade or so but I really want to be a size 12. Anything more than that is unrealistic I think.

I've just eaten the last bit of Cornish Crackler cheddar in the fridge so its good food only from now on.

member I am in awe of you - please channel some of your motivation this way!

member · 14/05/2012 11:12

Hi Buttonmoon 78, sorry missed your post as didn't put the scores on the doors last week. 4lb gone in last two weeks Grin

Laurie, did you join WW?

buttonmoon78 · 15/05/2012 13:15

Lost 2lbs so far. In a way I'm a little bit disappointed but in another I think that if I'm not changing much but losing small amounts then even if it takes a long time it won't seem like such a deprivation. If you see what I mean?

Well done Member!

member · 15/05/2012 13:19

Absolutely buttonmoon, I'm trying to eat less/move more/healthier stuff(but that's been getting a bit crappy again); needs to be something that I can do for the longhaul.

A loss is a loss is a loss!!

buttonmoon78 · 21/05/2012 12:25

No change this week but I'm not surprised - I've been so worried about dd2 (possible ed ironically) that I've just eaten what comes to hand Blush

Am looking for a good increase in movement tho - dd1 has just suggested running the race for life this year for dh's aunt who lost her battle with breast cancer in October last year. So, the nearest achievable one is July 10th. I need to run 5k by then! It's 7 weeks so more than achievable. Am going to start tonight...
