Ken, tickerfactory.com? Has the banners that you can add to your profile on certain forums but you could just track weight/?measurements on it ??

LaurieFairyCake · 23/01/2012 15:19

I've not lost anything either ! I've got a horrible cold though and appear to be retaining water and mucus Envy

Roll on next week Smile

kendodd - I use foodfocus website - it's great for tracking for free Smile

Just weighed myself about 10 stone 3lbs, 37 inch waist Blush

I'm only about 5ft, 2.5 inches.

Kendodd · 23/01/2012 15:22

Thanks for website recommendations, I'm too tight to pay for Weight Watchers!

LaurieFairyCake · 23/01/2012 15:22

Very envious, kendodd - I'm five stone more and only 5ft tall, much smaller waist though (29 inches) as it's all in the norks Grin

3lbs off for me this week Smile

Kendodd · 23/01/2012 15:34

I seem to remember something about a big waist being bad for your health though, or rather not a healthy place to carry your weight. Sorry, not explaining this very well. Anybody have a clue what I mean?

GlueSticksEverywhere · 23/01/2012 16:28

Yeah I know what you mean.

GlueSticksEverywhere · 23/01/2012 16:29

LaurieFairyCake You are 15 stone and only have a 29 inch waist?! Wow!

mrswoodentop · 23/01/2012 22:10

Only half a pound this week ,I weigh in at SW on Monday nights so can I join you all?

member · 30/01/2012 13:07

Another 3lb off this week so that's 6lb in two weeks (was sneakily hoping for my first half stone, but can't complain!)

What about the rest of you Monday weighers?

LaurieFairyCake · 31/01/2012 09:12

I forgot to weigh til last night - but 2 further pounds off Smile

Well done member and mrs woodentop.

I'm off to eat some oatsosimple - I love that stuff.

Oops forgot to post. 2lb loss this week! Smile

Have gone off the wagon the last 2 days but am trying to pull myself back onto it. The culprit . . . homemade yummy biscuits!

lovechoc · 01/02/2012 13:53

So far lost 1lb a week. Total weight loss is 3lbs. Quite happy with this, doesn't seem much but I do look more toned these days thanks to all the exercise I've been doing every other day. Well done everyone else who has managed to lose weight so far into the new year.

WhereAreTheCakes · 01/02/2012 14:09

My weight has hovered between the line of overweight and obese for about 3 years now and after reading loads about it being so hard to lose weight in 40s,that portion sizes need to go down, exercise must increase - realise I really must do something about it for real!!

So weighed myself on Monday and was 12st 6 (been that since Xmas), have a 36inch waist and am 5ft 2".

Want to lose 45pounds (3st and 3) and using MFP Did lose 4st with WW about 10 years ago and kept off for about 5 years - but no classes near me plus I want to keep an eye on carbs too and it's calculated for you on MFP.

Also got the Shred DVD but finding lots of excuses not to start as remember I struggled to walk down the stairs last time!

Going to get two jars and put 45 pebbles in one and each time I lose a pound will move it to the other jar. Should be empty by Xmas 2012.

Right - now I've written this down I will be committing to it.

Another 3lb this week! Grin - only another 71 to go Hmm

Exercise not doing well on because of painful left knee which occasionally gives way Sad. Looking to get a cross trainer so can do interval training without impact.

Hope you've had a good first week Wherearethecakes ?

Well done Laurie , Gluesticks & Lovechoc on last week's losses!

pookey · 06/02/2012 10:31

Can I join too. Have been low carbingish for 3 weeks. Have cut right back on wheat and now trying to cut back on dairy but struggling not to drink gallons of milky tea. Also not eating after 7pm but having a day off when I can eat what I like. I lost about 6lb the first two weeks but nothing last week. sigh. could have been the 3 whisky and lemonades, packet of doritos and sneaky spoons of peanut butter? trying to keep a food diary but keep forgetting.

current weight 11.6

Tillyscoutsmum · 06/02/2012 10:36

Am I too late to join ?

I started on the 2nd Jan and have been doing Monday weigh ins. I have lost 15lbs so far but am also starting to lose a little bit of motivation. I am sticking to 1,250 cals per day and using myfitnesspal.com to track. I am also doing the dreaded 30 day shred dvd most days.

So, this morning's weight was 11lb 6oz. I am 5' 7". 1 more pound off until I am considered "Normal" in terms of BMI. I want to lose another 7-12 lbs in total

WhereAreTheCakes · 06/02/2012 13:58

:) Delighted - lost 4.75 pounds this first week.
Sticking to roughly 1200 cals a day - though yesterday was more than double this as was at a kid's birthday party!

Haven't done any exercise yet - Shred DVD looking at me. Seriously running out of excuses not to do now.

Now 12 st 1.25 lbs - about 40 pounds still to go

Tillyscoutsmum - over a stone already this year - well done

LaurieFairyCake · 06/02/2012 14:42

Ooh well done all of you Grin

I've lost half a pound this week - I'm blaming it on a whole pack of sausages yesterday and aim to do better this week.

MyChildDoesntNeedSleep · 06/02/2012 19:02

Tilly did you mean to write that you are 11 stone 6lb, not 11lb 6oz? You really will disappear if you lose another 12lb if that's the case! Grin

Tillyscoutsmum · 06/02/2012 21:05

Grin Yes - definitely not 11lb. My dc's were almost that when they were born Grin 11stone 6lb

member · 13/02/2012 09:48

1lb this week - better than nowt s'pose!

member · 20/02/2012 09:32

Well chuffed, 6lbs off this week (think some of that should have shown on scales last week tbh) now shifted 16lbs since 16th Jan (still got 64 to go though!).

Good luck anybody weighing in today, where are you all?????
