boobyprize are you doing it - is it any good??

mancmum · 11/01/2006 13:16

I am doing it!! (Again did it for a while last year lost a bit of weight and then lost my way!)

This year have bought the 90 day diary and so am more conscious of making it a long term thing... so far it is good - had a sandwich for lunch but threw most of the bread away which is good for me as nornally addicted...

How are you doing? Would be good to buddy up if you are?

boobyprize · 11/01/2006 13:32

I started yesterday.

Drinking lots of fluid and i think i have been confusing being hungry with thirsy like he said.I am sticking to it but finding it really alien at the moment.Eating food I want, chewing 20 times and leaving food on my plate when i am full.It sounds good though and every thin person that i know does just that.I have just enrolled on the website too.
Mancmum yes it would be great to buddy up and all give each other support.

me

but finding it very difficult to concentrate on food when children are around

Twiglett · 11/01/2006 13:34

where's website please?

mancmum · 11/01/2006 13:35

you are right - it does feel odd but I think that is why I am fat!! This way of eating is that used by thin people.. I do struggle with leaving some food though -- cos I just take more than I would eat and leave the excess so not sure if that will work... but yes, I do seem to eat when i drink of water should be enough...

Not going to weigh myself this time... just wait to see a size 10 emerge from the fat suit it has been trapped in...

mancmum · 11/01/2006 13:35

not sure if there is a website... but there are books on amazon....

boobyprize · 11/01/2006 13:35

mancmum · 11/01/2006 13:37

ooh website -- have joined!!

Radley · 11/01/2006 13:41

I'm doing it also, got the 90 day journal today to do as well.

swedishmum · 11/01/2006 13:45

I'm on day 8 and haven't overeaten yet or craved anything. I don't do weighing but trousers definitely looser. The journal helps. It seems to suit me so far. Would probably help if I hadn't drunk wine on a couple of days....

boobyprize · 11/01/2006 13:49

where do you buy the journal?

Radley · 11/01/2006 13:58

I started yesterday as well. Do you actually listen to the cd every day?? I thought it was hilarious, kept expecting Barry White music to start. I know he says listen to it even if you don't believe it but 30 mins a day is quite long.
