Sadly I had to abandon and shut down my FB because I was being stalked by parents at school and FB kept changing my privacy settings. Am thinking though I may set up a new one under a marginally different name.

OK.. need to rethink this low carb business through, and possibly plan a bit more.

So far have had
Brekkie - 1 nar nar, 2 muller light yogs
When I got bored this morning - 2 apples & I small box raisins ( but I think raisins are possibly a no no?)

Lunch-having it now at 3.13 Carrot and ginger soup

Not sure what will happen later, the others will be having shepherds pie and broccoli etc.
And obviously I will need to be keeping this away from DD.
And will be running later.

I am worried you will all slope off to Facebook without me and I will have to revert to being PistyNoMates Sad

So far today I have had scrambled eggs made from 1.33 fresh eggs, a glass of OJ (probably a no no - pure sugar rush Blush but I can't start my day without my glass of freshly squeezed OJ), mid morning 1.5 brazil nuts and a banana (post Shred), 2 satsumas and 2 cheese triangle (not all at once, but had the nibbles), a griddled cold turkey steak, a soft boiled egg and 2.5 spears of freshly cut asparagus with some melted butter and a boiled egg (so fresh it didn't tilt up in the pan as there was no air bubble).

I haven't put that into FoodFocus - but I suspect I don't have much "left" for tonight.

DOn't have any almonds in the house, so am having to make do with treating attacks of the munchies with satsumas - which is not very low carb-ish. Hmm

Pretty - I don't really think I know what I'm doing tbh. I'm feeling at bit rubbish at this.

Apart from potatoes and bananas in limitation, can I have all fruit and veg?
And proteins are ok?
What about something like the muller light yogs?
I think I need professional help!

As you can tell, I haven't really thought it through.

The way I do it is less Atkins and more India & Nerys: which means plenty of protein, nuts, veg (they particularyl like caulflower and use it as a substitute for rice, when cooked and then sort of fried) and some fruit (although I have more fruit than I should).

IIRC, India & Nerys weren't terribly keen on artifical sugar substiutes - which the Muller Lite might have lots of (might be wrong though). They do allow the odd square of dark chocolate if you are desparate! Grin

I do a nice breakfast dish (from a "Do a Weekend Spa at home" article I read once) which is some porage oats soacked in semi-simmed milk overnight, then mixed with greek yoghut, raspberries/strwberries/red berry compoute and some sun flower seeds. Very healthy and filling :) I could try to find the recipe if you like.

I have heard of the cauliflower 'rice', I might try making that.

I think I'm just doing cutting out carbs, as a sort of knee jerk to try to kick start my weight loss again, because I have stagnated somewhat Blush

But if you find the recipe I'd love to see it for later on.

I am STARVING! And DD is making it tough! Shreddies & hot buttered toast for her brekkie and now she asked (so beautifully) if we could make 'Gingerbread mens' because they are her 'most favourite of all the biscuits ever'!! :)

Have had today:
Half a red grapefruit, 2/3 of a banana 1/2 a hardboiled egg
Large bowl of babyleaf salad with 1.5 hard boiled eggs & 1/2 can drained tuna with a little balsamic vinegar as dressing and then 3/4 a small apple.

Also had 3 pints of s/f squash (I don't really like water unless really cold & tooth won't allow that right now!!)

Have loads of burgers & sausages which have to be cooked today so am going to be torturing myself by cooking them for DH & DD, and watching them enjoy them whist I have soup! :(

well today is the first day in my life that i have worn skinny jeans - i brought them when a tad too tight and couldnt do zip up

now zip does up and i need a belt as fall down my waist!!

I have toothache. And had a bit of an odd day - very emotional after the parenting course and very tiring, and back to work tomorrow after 3 weeks.

Just had a quorn lasanga, but its just not worked.

I caved! I had a burger & a sausage & alot of salad...NO BREAD! So virtually no carbs & lots of protein (and fat! Oooops) But I'm still under 1000cals according to ff so will have a yoghurt when DD is in bed! :)

I think I've found it tough today coz I have this cold! All I want to do is feed it! Also this morning I practically ran up hill carrying DD (Normally 5min walk) as we were late top music group. And I've sauntered to Tesco & back.

But, be impressed, we made Gingerbread men & I haven't had even a crumb! :)

My teeth are wrecked after DS2. I blame the huge bags of Granny Smith apples I ate every day.

The course was really good. Lots of ideas, so got the stuff to make lots of resources at home. Was going to try tonight but tired. The lunch was very good Piste - lots of yummy wraps like prawn salad, and fruit. But the mayo was probably not so good.

Is it bad to go for wine and takeaway tonight with trashy TV as my last day of the holiday?!

Pisty, one of my friends on fb is my friend's dog (she just uses his account to play games), you could make up an identity so that those nosey parents will never know it's you.

When I did a parenting course smokin the emphasis was on positive ways of dealing with behaviour, really helpful.

I think I'm going to have to set up an alternative Facebook, with a modified surname, so to avoid stalkers and nosy buggers. I was too easy to find (double barrelled ) and I was somewhere between Angry and Blush I was getting requests from parents and I'm like fuck off, but then comments about pics from when we went to Thailand last October. And getting likes on things. Growl.

FB change privacy settings without you realising and I hadn't kept in control. I'm nothing exciting or special, but nor in my school position do I want to be public property. It's all about where you draw the line between private and public. Sadly though, FB was the best way to contact my Jap contingent, and our friends in the US. But it has gone now. Anyway, enough rambling, maybe I shall look into it.

Then when you all move onto chat on FB, I won't have to be left outside the door and be PistyNoMates!
