2nd thread, I know, but the first was asking Qs. So, those of us that are doing it (not many seemingly!) can moan chat here :) I am starting tomorrow (I think - seeing lady tonight) - I am 5'3" & 13st 3lb (ish) and goal is 8st (used to be 9 and to be honest was kinda chubby still, I'll see how I am at 9st and tone though)

Hello? Anyone? :)

wonka · 10/05/2011 19:39

Hello, I'm still here! 8 weeks (two weeks off for a holiday!) 1 and a half stone off!

hangingonathread · 11/05/2011 09:17

That's a great result, with two weeks off too! What sort of food did you eat on your 2 week holiday?

I'm sticking to ss as long as I can, but I'm really struggling. On day 4 now...

wonka · 11/05/2011 22:43

Anything and everything. gained 7lbs in two weeks but it came back off the week I got back. You'll be fine Ketosis will kick in tomorrow and the hunger will go. I'm not hungry its more the idea of eating something just cause its there I have to overcome.
Its better now I can have the bars.. bit of chocolat goes a long way!
can't wait to get into the 11's hopefully next week!

How's it going?
Been on the Cambridge website and am interested. I have 5st to lose. Do you exercise as well?

WillowFae · 16/07/2011 22:14

I've been faffing around with Cambridge since Feb. I am too tempted by free lunch at the school where I teach. Now I have 7 weeks off school so I'm making a resolution to get started properly. Have 2 weeks holiday but am taking shakes with me.

Hi I'm new to this site and wondered if any 1 is doing the Cambridge diet

shrinkingbridetobe · 28/07/2012 22:04

Hi all , been reading some of your stories and can totaly identify with all of them lol,i got engaged in february and set the date for sept 2013 (tactical of course), gave weight watchers a half assed go but im extremely impatient and if i dont see results fast i fold like a pack of cards : ( had my first consultation 2 weeks ago (have 9 stone to lose) started on step 2 (3 sachets and a proper meal) apart from a horrendous bout of constipation, brought on by not drinking enough liquid, its been a breeze. my first weigh in was thurs 26th of july and i had lost 16.5lbs and 5 inches from my waist, my clothes are hanging and ive set my next goal of 12lbs ( i see my consultant once a fortnight as she lives 60 miles away) my advice is try it and stick to it,you wont regret it ; )

henryhsmum · 29/07/2012 11:51

Can I join please? I have just started Cambridge today. I don't have much to lose - am 5'1, weigh 9st 4lb and want to lose about a stone (want to be back in my size 10!). I am on holiday til September (work in a school) so hoping to lose all the weight by end of summer

Have so far had a maple and pecan porridge which was disgusting, I threw half of it out! Also had a coconut shake which was better but lumpy. They all seem to leave a taste of sodium in my mouth- is that normal?

What flavours would people recommend? My big food weakness is chocolate and sweet stuff. How does the chocolate shakes test- are they artificial?

Hi,

Is anyone still doing this? I am starting tomorrow and would love to know how it went for anyone who successfully pulled it off.
