Wynken broke the other thread!

Have been so busy at work, only in the door a few minutes. Haven't eaten yet, but weirdly not hungry.
Must have something otherwise will suddenly get ravenous.
Looks like everyone is doing ok though.
Am actually looking at Shred DVD (Still in its cellophane wrapping!)but too wrecked to start doing it today.

I lost 3.5lbs Smile
So that is really just 1.5lbs in 2 weeks, but pleased am back on track.

8.5lbs overall in 4 weeks, if I do same in next 4 weeks I would be very happy.

That 12 speed soup looks a good idea, may give it a go.

Whoopsie - didn't mean to cause mass panic about the old lentils, free on green and EE but not superfree!!

Consultant was raving about the 12 speed soup at class, apprently it's really filling

that's great!! well done

looking at the speed soup, thought parsnips weren't ss?

Report
Melty · 10/11/2010 20:02

They aren't, but the soup would be free on EE or Green, and because of all the superfree stuff in it, its filling but not many calories in it, so Speedy.
I think.

Hi, I'm sorry I haven't been on for so long - we've been banned from using the net at work which is when I was mainly able to post!!

I've been plodding along nicely, but had a tummy bug this week, not all bad, it meant I had a 4.5lb loss, so I'm now at 2st 2lbs. Only 5 weeks left until wedding, so hoping for some more big losses over the next few weeks.

Well done to everyone for your weight losses :)

Well done Lizzy. Ria, it is here. Also you can get a free proponts calculator for your iPhone. Would rather not post that one but you can find it in same place as link me. Anyone having trouble finding it and wants it, PM me.

Weigh in for me today, fingers crossed for 3lbs but not confident.

Good Luck Wynken.

If you do the WW thing, remember to click on the promotion code thing on the first page, before you give any bank details.

Ive just done the free trial to compare between the 2.
I put my food and snacks in up to lunch time today and I still have 11 points left over for dinner. (Heavily over estimated on my lunch portions too as I didnt actually weigh my chicken and rice)

So if I have the planned mince and veggies with a muller light for dessert and some fruit, I will still be in under my points and still have my weekly 49 playing points.

Ria, well done on the zumba, I have to say it is the only exercise I actually enjoy and don't force myself to do and it makes me smile so much. It must be very good for your core as well, all that twisting and turning and shimmying.

Thinking of risotto for dinner, it says all rice is free on extra easy, would arborio be too? I love risotto (especially in this weather, ultimate comfort food), if it is free I may just combust. Thinking of butternut squash and smoked bacon (will use chicken stock cube and low fat cheese from allowance).

Steak and salad for lunch (after a shred)and had 2 x Alpen lights for breakfast.

I can't believe i am eating so much!

Morning! Did my WI in at WW and got all the info on PP. Maintained according to their scales but this morning I was the lightest I've been so far on Wii Fit. The consultant mentioned the free fruit & veg but said only have 5-7 portions at the most daily as more will cause a gain, which I thought was interesting re SW. Everything else was just basically rejigging of points. Daily Mail was wrong about men getting 46 points as everyone starts at 29 then the calculations are added to adjust it, I've signed up for monthly pass so I'll go on the site and work out DP's. I got 35.

Lizzy, arborio is free on EE. I've made risotto a few times and I'v synned the wine and parmesan. I usually do a prawn one and every time I've made it there has been loads left over as we've been stuffed. The only thing is it hangs around a bit in the body so don't weigh yourself tomorrow if you can help it as you'll go up but then down again the next day Smile

How many syns are in a GU naughties Cchocolate Roll?
I've just had one. Very nice it was too!

I am going to use 1/2 a butternut squash and also stick a roasted red pepper in.

I don't know about syn value but that choc roll sounds delish Grin

Report
Lizzylou · 11/11/2010 13:21

Only 3.5 syns!

If it is a "Gu Naughties, Gu-ey Choc Sponge Rolls 16g each" ?

Wow, things is, I wouldn't stop at one!

Right am sulking, one measley pound off. Yes I know it's two packs of butter but I was virtuous, absolutely halo time. I did get my 10% though so that's something and determined not to let get lost in my sulk. I do wish the consultant wouldn't try to get you to say you'll lose more than 2, it's just not realistic for me and I don't think I had enough syns or ate enough. She looked at food diary and said I need more superfree food, less free food and more syns, though I have stuck to the plan 100% ie weighed and measured A&B choices, counted all syns and had a third super free on plate plus snacked on superfree inbetween.

Well bugger that, I'm on a WW rebellion for a week. Just had a bacon sarnie on that Kingsmill half and half bread. And it was lovely so ner ner ner ner ner to my consultant. And I'm going to have some chocolate today. It's my don't lose or gain week next week so am going to enjoy myself.

Kungfu, is that 7 portions of fruit and veg combined or 7 portions of fruit ? I have just weighed my slice of melon to see how much I tend to have at a sitting.

Wynken, I think the emphasis was more on the fruit i.e. don't stuff yourself full of bananas and punnets of grapes and expect to lose, I'm sure green veg are ok though if you have a bit more. The meeting was absolutely packed as loads of people had turned up to register for PP so it was hard to hear everything that was said. They only had 12 last week and at least 50 this week!

Checked DP's points - he gets 50 Shock

Report
Melty · 11/11/2010 18:37

I get 34 points.
Hmmm
Why do you think 200g chicken is 7 points, but 100g on twice is 6 points?
