Have just rediscovered Mumsnet and also dusted off my Paul Mckenna book for another go! I am probably a good 4 stone overweight and have been for a good 10 years. I hate diets and have little will power. I did this book a few years ago and lost half a stone in week 1 but didn't do the CD....I think that was the downfall. Am starting all over as of today.....anyone care to join me/offer any advice/been there before?

Well didn't overdo it in the end as my husband forgot to book a table, plonker! so came home had slice of cake and 1 glass of wine... unfortunately I get over excited on birthdays ( I know you'd have thought I was 5 not 32!) so ended up falling asleep on the sofa.. great day though Grin

Thanks arfur Smile

ppeatfruit · 15/11/2010 07:59

That exercise i described seems to have started much quicker weight loss and body sculpting try it arf and emm. Also remembering to keep belly muscles tight!!!

emmie31 · 15/11/2010 17:51

I'll give it a go, so you don't crunch like a sit up? how many do you do?

ppeatfruit · 16/11/2010 10:08

Start gradually do what you feel happy with; 2or 3 twice a day you can put one arm behind yr head then both when you get stronger. For the belly muscles count 10 to pull and hold for 5

VJay · 18/11/2010 11:42

Hello, my PM book arrived today, I've watched the dvd and have read the first part of the book. It all seems to make sense. So I was wondering how much weight I can expect to lose during the first couple of weeks. I have about 2 stone to lose to get down to a healthy weight.
TIA Smile

ppeatfruit · 18/11/2010 13:46

Everyone is different so it's difficult to say how long it will take you. Congrats for starting and we're here to keep you at it Grin
