Hi, i am with Voy at the moment and am paying £234 for a 5mg dose but would like to increase but the cost is too great for me .
Ive been on the injections since june and they have been amazing, i don’t want to stop as ive lost what i need to but the cost is massive!
Whats the best and cheapest supplier please ? And can i switch easily if i am already on a subscription?
Thanks in advance.

Most pharmacies don’t make you sign up to a subscription, you just re-order monthly / when you want as long as you are eligible. Look at monj.co.uk and you can see how much each dose costs with or without a new customer discount for each GhPC registered pharmacy. I have been on MJ since April and have used 4 different pharmacies so far!

medicine marketplace often have the lowest retail prices - you’ll pay less with them for 7.5 than what you are paying now for 5mg.

Agree with Medicine Market Place, they are doing 7.5mg for £168 at the moment, and there is a £10 new customer discount for your first order to take that to £158. Even their 15mg price is significantly cheaper than what you are paying now for 5mg.

How long do you have left on your Voy subscription? If you're not in the last month they will charge a fee to cancel the subscription early.

The Monj wesbite has a column on the price comparison table labelled (SUB) which shows if a pharmacy operates a subscription service or not. You can see that most don't.

It’s incredibly irresponsible for Voy to operate as a subscription service with minimum terms and charges. This is prescription medicine we are talking about, not an unused gym membership!

Why hasn’t anyone reported them to the GMC?

ETA: I’m also with medicine marketplace and they are good.

£234 for 5mg is insane. Why is anyone paying that when you can get it so much cheaper

Freecall · 20/10/2026 15:47

I totally agree, insane.

The going rate for 5mg to a new customer is currently about £125.

This is a serious rip-off.

Are you sure that you are locked into a contract? Surely they can't make independent clinical assessments of your needs if you are forced to pay anyway?

I always check on this site. I've moved 3x and never signed up to a subscription.

That’s a lot of money! I would suggest taking a look at the MedEazy comparison site. Some pharmacies (Oushk) have discounts for returning customers as well as new ones with no subscriptions

£234 for 5mg is unbelievable. Too many of us fall into the brand trap of the big players. Can pick up a code on medeazy.co.uk for Lotus, £123 for 5mg or £176 for 7.5mg.
