Mounjaro providers offering support

Which providers offer support and what does it actually consist of? I used manuel before with ozempic and it's now branded as something else but the support was basically a poorly manned whatsapp group.

What sort of support are you looking for?

SilenceInside · 06/10/2026 17:33

There are about 30-odd suppliers on the Monj website list that are shown as providing additional services and support to customers as well as prescribing the medication. You’d have to check each one out to see what exactly they’re offering.

I’ve only ever really heard of companies offering apps that let you log weight/food/injections, AI chat functions, social media groups etc. I don’t know what sort of support you’re after that would be worth paying for?

Lotus offers an app with the usual logging apps, chats, workout videos, recipes and programmes talking you through things such as maintenance. Its not a subscription model. I am with them as I am in maintrnance which they really support. Price after first order goes up to mid range price point. However they have a loyalty scheme as well as the refer a friend scheme. This means by my next order I have £18 to receive in discount.

What kind of support are you looking for? I think I've used 6 different suppliers and never looked at support from any of them. I find this forum to be all I need.

perimenopoppet · 07/10/2026 06:11

I’m cynical but the ‘support’ from everything I’ve seen ranges from crappy AI bots to apps to clique-y forums and not a lot more, isn’t personalised or up to date and they charge a huge mark up for the privilege.

mumsnet and the mounjaro uk Reddit have such sensible and supportive advice from long term users.

save your cash for the actual meds and do your research carefully 🙂

Thanks, this is what I was wondering. The personalised advice, coaching etc, whether it is as it sound.

It’s all nonsense. If you need that level of support you should look into finding it independently.

I think it's because I'm worried about not changing my habbits enough so when I stop I'll gain weight back again. And also when I was on wegovy I had bad symptoms. So I'm rather wary but I definitely need to make a change

I think you have to view it as a long term choice. I have changed my habits for 2 years almost but would absolutely revert if I stopped taking this WLI. A lot of people think changing habits is enough, but for me the crucial problem was that I couldn’t change them without WLI. If you think you can take meds, lose the weight then just stop it’s highly likely you will pile the weight back on. Anecdotally that’s what happens. There is some speak of needing to remain at maintenance for 2 years before attempting to come off them, perhaps that’s a potential course of action?

SilenceInside · 07/10/2026 10:51

Weight regain is a common situation though when anyone reaches target after any kind of diet. Changing "habits" around eating takes a long time. One approach is not to have a sudden end to your "diet" once you reach your target weight and instead plan to spend a long time using the medication to help you maintain your weight before slowly reducing the amount you're taking. Rather than just stopping. Also being prepared to restart medication if you are finding it hard to maintain the weight loss without it.

I've been obese for all my life until now, so it will take a very long time for me to believe that the weight loss is permanent and to think that I can manage without medication to support me.

I thought the same really. There didn't seem any reason to think that sort of support would be best provided by a pharmacist. Different skillsets. Though I'm staying on for maintenance so different situation to OP.
