Is anyone else moving up to the 25mg dose this month? I started on the day after launch day, and have tolerated the tablet well and now almost 1.5 stone down. I had good suppression on 9mg but ordered the next dose up anyway, and my last 9mg tablet is tomorrow. ( Now wondering if I should have stuck, but I've got these now!)

I've been taking the 9mg for about two weeks now & I'm really sick with it so only taking it every second day 😫 I think I'll be sticking with 9 for another month. Let us know how the 25mg goes for you 🤗

Im on 9mg , just a week in!

i haven’t hugely noticed the pills have made any huge impact on my appetite until the 9mg

have lost about half a stone in total

i had nausea the first few days but now it’s ok

ill be joining you in 2 weeks: good luck

I was wondering about every second day @Eire12 as it seems such a huge leap in dosage . But ill start off with every day first. I only really want to lose another stone to put me into the top end of normal bmi for my height, as being older, I know its probably better to not lose too much. However that seems like a concept I cannot imagine atm after being 3st overweight so long !

Why don’t you get a pill cutter and just half the dose?

Eire12 · 03/10/2026 07:58

I agree OP, it's life changing! I wanted to lose 3 stone also. I've already lost two. I was actually on the jabs before the tablet. Probably lost half a stone on that (It made me really ill!)

Thats not recommended with wegovy pills because of how they are absorbed. They have a SNAC coating which neutralises the initial stomach acid and digestive enzymes in the area around the tablet and protects the Semaglutide until its absorbed.

I’ve lost a stone since end of
July and still on the 4mg but the scales haven’t moved for 3 weeks now. I’ve noticed food noise is back a bit and I seem to eat small amounts of chocolate / sweets but can’t eat a huge meal in one go.

I’m moving up to the 9 next week. I put it off as felt terrible the first 2 weeks on 4mg. I think I’ve lost the most weight when I’ve been feeling too ill to eat, but taking the tablet has definitely helped me keep what I have most off! Usually I’d have regained the weight by now.

I would really like to lose another stone by xmas so hoping the 9 is okay!

Hopefully nobody tries that 😬

I've ggot8 days left on 9mg and then I'm moving up, have lost 7kg so far but have a lot to go! Not much movement in the last few weeks so I'm hoping thing will move in the right direction on the 25s, very few side effects

Logsonthefire2 · 03/10/2026 09:51

@AquaViper have you been calorie counting or dieting? I haven’t as life has been too busy. Keep thinking I’ll need to
make more effort with that but it’s hard.

Not as such no. I've calorie counted for years so I tend to know the calories in something without actually counting.

I have a yogurt in a morning (I'm not hungry for breakfast but I know I feel nauseous if I don't have anything). Then I will have a small sandwich or a salad at lunch and a small portion of something in the evening.

What has changed from all my other attempts to diet is that I can have crisps, sweets etc in the cupboard and forget it's there and not eat it. Before I would just gorge on them, now I don't want to eat them or if I do want something I can easily just have a few sweets and put the rest back.

I've been taking 25mg for a couple of weeks now - I was nervous about the jump but it's been totally fine. I definitely needed to move up as I was getting hungrier on the previous dose. Good suppression and sooo full after meals currently - have lost 5 lbs since moving up. Also I've been less constipated on the higher dose - no idea why but it's great news!

millym102 · 19/10/2026 18:33

Does anyone have any updates on how they feel on 25. I'm wondering about going up but nervous. I'm on my second month of 9 but feel hungrier lately but worried about getting more heartburn.

Felixthewonderdog · 19/10/2026 21:26

Im two days in and so far, no difference between these and 9mg

Laska2Meryls · 20/10/2026 08:11

I am two weeks in on 25mg and had a much stronger suppression from a couple of days in . So far no more side effects, except struggling to finish my plate. Im still losing a couple of pounds a week , which is fine and would like to lose another stone if possible, ( leaving me in the top end of the weight range for my height which us about right for my frame) . But on this dose I dont really have much of an appetite at all. I am pretty sure that I will be going back to 9mg once I reach my goal weight though, as 25mg feels really quite strong and more than I will need to maintain.

Thanks all. I think I'm going to move up. Sou ds really promising and 9mg has definitely slowed down.

Minibea · 20/10/2026 15:58

I’ve just ordered another dose of 9mg as still feeling pretty good suppression and not having too many side effects but am toying with starting to double up the dose of the 9mg tablets a week or so in, so I’m having 18mg a day, has anyone tried this approach?
