Do people shop around for cheaper weight loss injections?

I have been using mounjaro since March and have lost 4stone so far. All that time I have been purchasing it through pharmacy2u. Currently on 5mg which I pay £196 for a month once postage is included. I probably might have to move up to 7.5mg soon.

I’m wondering how much people tend to shop around to get it cheaper? I’m aware that you can get quite a bit cheaper on other sites. So I think why be spending that extra cash when I don’t need to but then it seems hassle to swap.

Do people move around much? Is there anything to bear in mind if you do? I’m wondering if your BMI gets below a certain point is it harder to swap? I still have maybe 2-3 stone to lose in ideal world. Are the cheaper places not so good with monitoring you though I don’t feel like the provider I am with does that much anyway. Will most providers let you stay on it longer for maintenance? Is there a reason I’m not thinking of that you shouldn’t swap?

There is no reason not to swap, imo. I've done it many times over the last 2 years, when prices have got too expensive.

It's only an issue in terms of BMI if it is below the pharmacy's cut off, different for each pharmacy, but that's usually in the 22 BMI and lower range.

The level of service has been basically the same with every pharmacy I have used, which includes Pharmacy2U.

I change every month to whoever is cheapest that month. It is very straightforward and absolutely worth it for the savings.

I've been on it since March too (I've lost 4st 13lb so far) and I've used 4 different providers.

I compare prices and if it's worth going elsewhere, I will.

My last provider was Pharmica but then I got a £45 discount offer from the previous one (iQDoctor) so I used that and ended up paying a fair price.

It is a pain swapping around though, especially taking photos/videos so I stay put if there's only a few quid in it.

Cha get so many times. It's when your bmi gets to about 22 ypu gotta start looking for a maintence place. Some let you swap down to 19..

Ive just tried medicine market place with bmi 22.5 and awaiting approval. Went with them as they have a good price. But there is still cheaper than them. NEW health I think is cheapest at the moment..

I would honestly swap about , save some real £££s .

I used to. I've settled on a good maintenance pharmacy now who are a reasonable price but not the cheapest. But when your bmi is over 25 or so, there's really not a problem shopping around each month.

Have always used Lotus 5mg is around £150.

I haven’t bothered changing as they have been reliable.
