I'm curious if anyone who DOESN'T have food noise has taken it mounjaro and what the results have been? I'm at my wits end with my perimenopausal weight having put on 2 stone in a year. I started 12 August on 2.5mg with starting weight of 11st 5 at 5ft 4, and just increased to 5mg today. I don't have food noise, never have. It's always been hard for me to remember to eat and always been really slim. Aged 49 and a half. Would love to hear you’re experiences

Why do people say menopause put weight on them.. no, their appetite increases a bit so they eat more. Daily calorie allowance reduces. All in their control.
I put weight on then but it was because I was snacking more

I'm shorter and older than you and put the majority of my weight on when I was menopausal. Calorie controlled diet and exercise didn't work for me.
My starting weight was 11stone 8 and it took me 7 months to lose over 2 stone.
I think Mounjaro could work for you as long as you are mindful to eat healthily prioritising protein and fibre and not losing weight too quickly.
16 months later I maintain on a low dose. I never went above 4mgs.
Good luck!

Mounjaro works primarily by reducing your appetite and making you feel fuller. If you already have a very low appetite then it's not going to do anything useful for you.

I find this really interesting because MJ isn’t only about reducing food noise, it can also affect appetite and how full you feel. If you’ve always had a naturally low appetite and have never really struggled with food noise, I’d be a bit more cautious about how much your appetite drops, especially if you’re already fairly light

To gain 27 pounds you need to consume 94,500 extra cals more than you burn off.

im not sure what you’re saying.you think the weight just magiced on?

It’s genuinely not as simple as calories in versus calories out.

Well she’s lost 10 pounds on it so it obviously is doing something for her.

The weight gain is likely to be hormone related. Low eostrogen equates to high sugar retention and therefore weight gain in some.
