How many clicks of pen to get a half dose on MJ?

I am currently on 5mg of Mounjaro but to save money I bought a 10mg pen. I see that many people are buying stronger doses and using half doses to save money. How many clicks do I need to do to get a half dose?

A full dose of any MJ pen is 60 clicks so a half dose is 30 clicks.

So are you saying each dose is 60 clicks not the whole pen?

Is this your first pen? It’s not the whole pen per injection. It’s an injection a week from a monthly pen.

If you’re currently taking 5mg of MJ, presumably you’ve already used up a 2.5mg pen?

Did you get at least 4 full doses from that pen or just one dose?

60 clicks is a dose. Each pen holds 4 doeses.

Ok great thanks for confirming. I have been on it a while, currently on 10mg but would like to go down and also save money so thought I'd try the half doses I read others are doing.

Are you already maintaining? If so, maybe consider going down gradually rather than a sudden drop to 5mg?

Whenever I increase my dose, I only go up by either 0.5mg or 1 mg so after a year, I’m still only on 4mg and I’d like to lose another half a stone before maintaining so might go up to 5mg. Once at goal, I plan to titrate down in the same way dropping only half a mg each time I reduce my dose.
