Mounjaro to wegovy back to Mounjaro

Is anyone else considering switching back to Mounjaro?

I get my wegovy from MMP, and their Mounjaro price cuts mean it’s about the same price now.

I was on Mounjaro for a year and lost nine and a half stone. On wegovy for eight months and i’ve only lost a stone.

I’m wanting to start from 2.5mg of mounjaro again and titrate up. My last dose of wegovy was 2 weeks ago and to be honest I don’t feel massively hungry - so I’m hoping the last two years have made some good changes and I can get the helping hand from Mounjaro?! Has anyone done this sort of switch?

Do you have much left to lose or are you close to maintenance?

The NHS says another 7-8 stone!!! I think I’d want to lose 4 more

Yes. I lost 20kg on Mounjaro, then the price went up, and I came off it, put 15 back on, I've been on Ozempic for 4 months with no change at all, so I literally just booked the appointment to switch back to Mounjaro again.

I have had a lot else on (both life and health issues), so I don't completely blame myself for putting the weight back on, but I want it gone again, and if that means mounjaro for the rest of my life, I know I've given it a go without.

Yes, I switched from MJ in Jan 26 and am on 2.4 of WG currently - I've been losing and regaining the same 7lbs ever since the switch so I'm going to go back to MJ and see if that kickstarts weight loss again 😁

Yes, MJ for 2 years, to wegovy jabs then pills then back to MJ. MJ is just better in my opinion.

I lost 4 st on mounjaro, switched to wegovy pills just for maintenance and a stone went back on very quickly. Back on mounjaro and now only about 5lb heavier than I'd got down to. I can't afford it long-term though :(

My pen has arrived today! I feel quite excited to get started again, after about three weeks off the wegovy

With a switch like that, I’d definitely check the changeover with the prescriber rather than deciding the restart and titration yourself. Since you’re getting Wegovy through MMP, it may be worth asking them how they’d want the switch managed clinically
