Medicine marketplace have just announced price drops in a TT live - looks like from wider comments it might be a drop by others too 🤞🏻

@TidyDancer I suppose it manages stock issues hopefully but going to be annoying if there is a stock issue for existing customers who have to wait behind new ones!

Bumping this to ask if anyone has made the switch to MM following this price drop? What has the service been like? I’m near long goal so wondering too whether they suppose maintenance?

this was a long thread answering this question. Since then I’ve also seen someone say they only got 6 needles and 4 wipes with a bundle deal which is a bit careless of MMP but easy to fix. Seems like in general it’s fine if you don’t have an ordering gap or anything medical that needs further review.

The catch seems to be that you need to buy a ‘bundle’, ie more than one pen. That’s going to be difficult for some people. I have also heard that Eli Lilly want the bundles to contain more than one strength pen. That would mean that someone ordering 2.5 mg would have to combine that with a 5 mg pen. If that is true (and there is a lot of confusion about this), that’s quite wrong from a clinical point of view, and seems to be about forcing people onto higher doses for the sake of the manufacturer’s profit. I will wait for greater clarity!

My last order was MMP, a week or so before the price drop. I haven't needed any service from them but I was amazed at their speed of delivery. Ordered early evening and arrived the next morning.

@Onefairfish I ordered from MMP because of the price drop. I didn’t need to order a bundle but I did have to tick a box to say that I needed to order within 35 days to keep the lower price. If you don’t then the price reverts to the pre-drop amount, I’m ok with that as I don’t mind ordering that frequently given the decent price.

Interesting. I’m not with MMP so I will be looking to see what the pharmacy I use comes up with.

I usually order from MMP and as a PP said there’s no requirement to order more than one pen to get the discounted price. The requirement to place your next order within 35 days to keep the discounted price is no big deal. That would be five doses, and there’s no golden dose in the pens.

Australia has super high prices.

I’m definitely going to think about moving to them. Compared to Pharmalous it’s a £50 saving on 15mg. That’s a considerable saving.

I can easily accept the 35 day ordering as Pharmalous insists on less than 6 weeks anyway.
Even if a bit of a stockpile happens I can then stop for a bit. I’m not actually at the 15mg level at the moment and clickcounting to around 12 mg.

I was also blown away last time how quick they got my jab out. @Onefairfish my understanding is you can just get one still. I don’t really understand how they can process so low now compared to others and a bit worried about that but …!

I'll need a bit more of a drop before I can go back on it, though planning too. Switching to Wegovy was dreadful for me in the end, I was so unwell 😟

I've ordered from MM previously and find their service to be good. Switching isn't difficult at all.
