Wegovy 1.5mg tablets – experiences, side effects & Voy?

Hi everyone,

I’m thinking about starting Wegovy but I’ve only just realised there’s now a tablet version (1.5mg) and I’d definitely prefer a tablet over an injection!

Has anyone on here started the tablets yet? I’d love to hear how you’ve got on with them, especially the side effects and how much weight you’ve actually lost.

How were you finding the 1.5mg to start with? Did you get much nausea, sickness, constipation etc? And did you notice a difference in your appetite/cravings fairly quickly?

Also, are there any vitamins or supplements you’re taking alongside it? I keep seeing people mention things like protein, electrolytes, multivitamins etc and I’m wondering what’s actually worth taking.

I’ve also been looking at getting it through Voy – has anyone used them? What were they like and would you recommend them?

I’m basically just looking for real experiences before I take the plunge 😂 especially from anyone who’s been on the tablets rather than the injections.

thanks x

I'm on week 3 of 1.5mg through superdrug. So far, so good. I noticed a change to my hunger quickly, within a few days. I have felt nauseated on and off, but I often felt nauseated before taking them so it's not a massive change.

I have used Voy in the past for something else and they were fine. A bit expensive for what I got but absolutely fine. So far my experience with superdrug has been really good as well, they email pretty much every day with tips/reminders that the doctors can answer questions etc.

You need to wait 30 minutes after taking the pill before you eat or drink. As someone who loves a morning coffee that has occasionally been a bit of a wait, but I keep a glass of water by the bed and when I wake naturally around 6ish I take the pill then doze on for a bit until the kids start to get up.
