How to reduce Mounjaro dose from 12.5 mg to 10 mg

I have recently gone up to 12.5 mg of Mounjaro, and am finding it too much. I have never microdosed so I am not sure how to do it. Does anyone know how many clicks would give me 10 mg, and would these clicks be after turning the pen for priming? Thanks!

It's just a bit of simple maths to work out how to do a partial dose. There are always 60 clicks to turn to the 1 position, regardless of the strength of the pen. You want 10mg from a 12.5mg pen. 10mg is 80% of 12.5mg (10/12.5) so you want 80% of the clicks. 80% of the 60 clicks is 48 clicks.

You prime as normal. The only difference when using the pen is instead of turning to the 1 position after priming, you turn it for 48 clicks instead. If you are going to do 10mg again the next time you could mark the position on the dial with a sharpie or similar to avoid having to count the 48 clicks out again.

60 clicks is a full dose of any strength. If you want 10mg from a 12.5mg pen, that is 0.8 of a full dose. 0.8 of 60 clicks is 48 clicks after the priming.
