has anyone tried weight loss pills? Any recommendations. I’m petrified of needles so don’t want to do that 🤦🏼‍♀️😂 but thinking about the weigh loss pills. I’m 35 mum to 6 and have really struggled this time post partum to lose weight. I need to lose about 3 stone and all though I eat healthy and always on my feet I’m starting to feel it. Lower back hips knees and ankles are achy and sore. I’m shattered all
the time but can’t sleep well. I’m craving sweet stuff all the time. Headaches and just feel meh. Any advice tips etc is much appreciated.

There are a few threads in this section for people who have started on the Wegovy tablets. Eg https://www.mumsnet.com/talk/weight-loss-injections/5550868-wegovy-pill?utm_campaign=thread&utm_medium=app_share

The Wegovy tablets are a bit less effective than the Wegovy jabs, and you need to take them daily rather than a once a week super quick injection. For the tablets they need 8 hrs fasting before hand and then nothing for at least 30 mins after taking. Many people take them on waking up to manage the 8 hr fasting part.

Have a look at https://ogovy.co.uk/ for a price comparison of GPhC registered UK pharmacies. Bear in mind that the discount price only applies to your first order, any subsequent orders with the same pharmacy will be at their Retail price. You can swap pharmacies whenever you want to though.

The wegovy pills are the least effective of the glp-1 medications available. Plus you can’t eat or drink for 8 hours beforehand and 30 mins afterwards so they’re a lot more faff.

I’m on MJ. The needles are absolutely tiny and completely painless. Most of us are terrified of injecting ourselves when we first start but I don’t even think about it now. It’s all sorted within a minute, once a week. And it’s incredibly effective.
