Starting WeGovy - advice on timing

I’m just about to start on wegovy, I’ve literally just picked up my prescription. As advised, I’m starting on the 0.25 dose.
Obviously until I have my first dose, I’ve no idea how my body will respond… will I feel ill, sick, etc etc. No idea, but fully prepared for what may come.

This may sound stupid but I have a date on Saturday.. a sleepover date.
Do I risk doing the first dose now and risk being ill… or am I better to wait until Sunday?

(clearly this could come down to priorities and what’s more important to me, but at the same time, I’ve waited this long, will another few days make a difference?!)

If it's very important to you to avoid any side effects, then yes, waiting a few days to start is neither here nor there in the scheme of things. Waiting a few days to start makes no odds in the overall long term process of weight loss that is going to take you several months plus, and potentially be an ongoing process.

I think it’s more the unpredictability. Nausea or diarrhoea wouldn’t be the sexy vibe I’m going for 😜😂
