Prescribing with thyroid conditions

i am a long term mj user In maintenance after a 6 stone loss. I just found out that I have an overactive thyroid am getting repeat blood tests then will see what treatment is needed.

i understand that mj can be used with an overactive thyroid once it’s controlled but I should pause it right now (which is very scary).

so my question is whether anyone has similar and if so do you struggle to get prescriptions. I am with pharmulous at the moment but was actually thinking about switching. I know I can pause with pharmulous but am worried about when I am ready to restart (I am an mj lifer I think) that I may get push back.

any insights gratefully received.

Hello! I’ve been under active thyroid and on thyroxine for many years now.

Ive been on mounjaro since November last year (and about to go on maintenance). I’ve used pharmacy2u and Pharmulous so far and neither have been a problem about thyroid issues.

When I was looking at changing pharmacies around the new year, Medicine Marketplace were one of the cheapest providers, but I was dissuaded from looking into it because I heard anecdotally that they turned under active thyroid patients down. Although one person said they had been prescribed. Out of a sample of I don’t know how many.

Two things spring to mind, as you no doubt know, pharmacies have changed their policies quite frequently. Secondly, whenever I’ve seen someone who has said they have a medical condition, others have suggested to try a doctor led pharmacy.
