I couldn’t see a group so I’ve started one! I had my first MJ injection this week so counting my first week as August!

I’m 5’2
SW: 11st 3
injected on Monday (2.5mg)

I was so nervous but it was fine. Had a slight headache and tiredness but otherwise all OK since.

Good luck to all you newbies!
My height and weight was very similar to you @getawayfromme 14 months ago.
I took it slowly and gently and lost my first stone in 3 months and my second stone 4 months later.
Best thing I ever did

@Lifecirclethat’s great to know!

I got my dose from a local private GP who charges £270 a month with consultation so it’s extortionate, maybe once I’m used to it I’ll be an online pharmacy to deliver instead!

There’s already a new group called August 2026 starters.

Maybe ask Mumsnet HQ to delete your thread to avoid confusion?

Hi everyone

My bf is on mj and has lost about 3 stone. He's up to the 7.5 dose now. To get me going I used his golden dose in week one with no side effects and lost 6lbs, then again for my second week and felt awful (together with stomach bug) and lost 4lbs.
I'm obese by bmi standards but live in NI and so GP wouldn't prescribe mj. I ordered myself through Happen as they were the best on the monj comparasion site at £103 for a 4 week supply.

I had to make up weight and height to get it and supply fake scales pic etc. I found the whole process a bit daunting. Then communication with Happen wasn't great, spoke to someone foreign on the phone who asked me to ring their suppliers which put fear in me - I just thought, am I being scammed here?!

Is this what everyone else is going through that isn't being prescribed by their local GP and is this the process every month?

I'm a complete novice, so if someone could shed some light I'd really appreciate it.

Delivery of 2.5 due on Monday - hopefully!

I jabbed on Thursday AM, felt fine all day Thursday and Friday but feel awful today - Saturday? Sick, nausea and slightly light headed. Anyone else have a delayed reaction like this?
