MJ injection delivered while away despite request to delay

Help.
Tldr: MJ delivered while I am away despite me specifically telling them not to. What do I do?

I ordered MJ early last week and then filled in the additional information. Medicine Express said it was complete.
Order didn't arrive in the next 5 days and then I went away.

I contacted customer service to ask what had happened to my order and to not deliver it now but wait until Monday next week as I am not there.
They said they would progress it.
I said do not deliver before Monday - they said they would try not to.

It was delivered yesterday! So it will sit in my "safe space" for 5 days! In this heat wave.

Obviously I am not going to take an injectable that has been subjected to non-standard storage but what can I do? Return to sender? How? It will have been delivered but not signed for.

Do you have a neighbour or someone who could take it in?

I had similar with cloud, they didn’t deliver it the day they were meant to and that I had paid for and then I wasn’t available the next day so it was taken to the post office. So it was a few days before I got it. They point blank refused to refund and said it would be safe.

Yikes. And no, I don't want anyone knowing I am on MJ. Especially not my neighbours. And I said this to Medicine Express - I don't want my private healthcare information shared with anyone else.

There’s no identification on the MedExpress packaging to say it’s Mounjaro, so no-one would know what it was if you asked them to collect it. However they would need to put it in the fridge and would then be curious I suppose.

Happened to me once and I had to get my sister to go and collect it.

Yes, they'd have to unbox it from the large packaging and then - like you say, would be asking what I am getting that needs to be in the fridge. I just don't want to ask them anyway.

So back to what can I do about a company deliberately sending out medical supplies to an empty property.

It doesn’t need to be kept cold anymore!
most companies don’t even pack them in ice no more

iloveanearlynight · 31/07/2026 18:24

Just contact the company to explain and see what they suggest.

BarbaraVineFan · 31/07/2026 18:49

You could just say it’s medication. Lots of kinds of medication need to be kept in the fridge

This? No point asking for advice until you speak to them and find out what their stance is; at this stage you don’t even know what advice you need.

I did. I told them not to deliver it. I said I won't be there, they said don't worry we will try not to post before Monday!!! Then completely ignored me.

I said in my OP that I had contacted them. I asked them not to deliver before Monday. I had a chat with an employee who said they would try to delay it (but could not guarantee it). And then they sent it the very next day!!!
