Oooooooh, thank you @Junmaro . I find all of this so interesting. So glad that they are doing more and more research into how it all works.

To my great surprise, I am a super-responder. Never got beyond 2.5mg dose. I also have IBS, of which one of my symptoms is rapid digestive transit, and the MJ gets rid of it completely. I've come off it a few times to try and maintain without and the IBS comes back again.

I remember disbelieving people who said they weren’t hungry when they’d eaten 2 or 3 hours ago. I’ve always been ready to go again after about an hour it felt like.

It's interesting, and hopefully there will be further research into this. I lost 30% of my starting weight in 6 months which is more than the average weight lost in the particularly sensitive group that the researchers identified (21.5%), so perhaps I would fall into this group too. I would like to see if they took account of starting weight/BMI as perhaps that can make a difference in how much weight is lost over the first 6 months.

People respond differently to MJ due to factors like genetics, metabolism, and lifestyle, so weight loss results can vary
