Getting Wegovy via the NHS Oviva Programme?

I know most people who get WLIs are paying for them, and that I am lucky to qualify to get them through the NHS. I'd appreciate being in contact with people in the same position as me who are on the same programme - particularly if you have been on it for a while because one of my concerns is the time-limited nature and knowing that this support only lasts for 2 years where other threads are full of people saying they'll need to be on a maintenance dose for life, and that's just not possible for me, so it would be helpful to have a thread with others who are similar.

Hi I'm on wegovy through oviva. I've been on it since January and I'm almost 5 stone down.
The app is tailored to you regarding goals, there's also lots of reading material which covers most things.
As to what ill do when it stops hopefully the lessons helps to change my way of thinkin

I'm expecting to get my first injector pen within the next few days. I've been using the Oviva app for about 6 weeks and have lost about 6kg just from what I have learned using that. Another 30 or so kg over the next 6 months would get me down to a sensible weight if I can manage that (when I say sensible, I don't mean a bmi of 25 because that feels unachievable, but just down to a level where I would feel a lot healthier even if I'm still overweight according to official definitions. How much further have you got before you feel you have achieved your target @k92 ?

I’m not on this programme but would just say you might surprise yourself in what is possible. I’ve lost 86kg in 16 months going from BMI of 52.6 from 23.5. Time passes, the medication ticks along in the background enabling you to stick to the changes. Best of luck.
