Feel so ill after first dose 😪

First jab yesterday morning by 5pm I felt awful, sick lethargic headache no appetite. Had a small meal felt a little better. Woke up with a banging headache, chronic nausea. Small amount of sickness had two spoonfuls of over night oats. Had to get back into bed.

Does this pass? I am so upset I have so many friends who didnt suffer side effect 😔

I am going away in 3 weeks amd dont want to feel like this 😞.

For context 15stone and 5 5. Have FH and a few other conditions so need to get weight off.

Dare I say it, but I feel quite a bit better today.

I did notice something that may be linked. I was feeling ill each day after I ate brunch. I wasn't fancying breakfast so I'd eat late morning and then feel awful most of the afternoon.

So today, I experimented with not eating until 2.30 p.m. and then eating just a little protein - plain chicken breast. I don't know if it was a coincidence but I felt much more normal (for me) like that.

So I will try it again tomorrow.

It's not as if I don't have anything first thing as I have a latte made with whole milk and add a scoop of collagen powder to it.

I am going to be weighing myself tomorrow morning. I need to do my next injection tomorrow. I think if I try the not eating until early afternoon and I am still feeling poorly, I will perhaps do a half dose (30 clicks).

I feel better after dinner in the evening but wake up gurgling. It has aggravated my bladder slightly but will need to see how ir goes.

Better than it was but not normal yet. Its tricky. No appetite which isnt good remembering to eat and drink!

I had similar side effects. If it doesn’t improve I’d at least half the dose for a while rather than pushing through. I took it for 4 months and the side-effects never got better, even though I was on 1.25mg for most of the time. I was so sensitive to it, my appetite was almost zero, terrible constipation, sleep issues and tiredness. I stuck to all the rules - lots of water, no fatty food, lots of protein etc.

That was last year, I’m about to try the Wegovy pill to see if it’s any better, though I’m not holding out much hope.

I watched a reel with one doctor (I think they were in the US) saying some of his patients had to divide a dose into three injections spaced out over the week to prevent such a large peak and provide more consistent levels. Others split it into two.

So perhaps the Wegovy pill might work in a more consistent and less fluctuating way.

I dont feel so bad this week. Slight headaches and mild sicknesse. Hoping it stays like this. Lost. 2.5lbs doesn't feel a lot for how I felt 😕

That's good. So much information about it all. Just keep getting gurgling dont know if am hungry acid or both.
