Taking a Mounjaro pen on holiday in hand luggage

Going on holiday this week, have 2 doses left in my mounjaro pen.

do I just pop it into my hand luggage? And put it though as a liquid?

I store mine in the fridge, but understand it’s also fine for it to be at room temperature- is this right?

Yes it’s fine at room temp as long as under 30 degrees. I don’t even think you need to declare it as a liquid as it’s less than 100ml. You can take the medication box with the prescription label on it just in case anyone asks about it.

If there's a chance it'll get too hot (in transit or while you're away), you can get a Frio gell wallet thing. It keeps pens around 20⁰ for 48 hours, then you can "recharge" the hell pack by soaking it in water again.

Regardless, just put it in hand luggage, ideally with the prescription (as per all prescribed medication). Remember to safely pack your used needles and bring home, if you're not taking a sharps bin with you.

I put mine in my carry on and was fine.
