WWYD - Pen / holiday

I have now taken three doses from a 2.5mg pen.

I have another 2.5mg pen (decided not to go up as I’m losing weight with good appetite suppression, plus I’m going on two holidays in the next month).

Dose day: Wed PM

Holiday 1 - long weekend - so can dose before I go and when I return, won’t take the pen.

Holiday 2 - travel Thu so can inject before leaving. But what shall I do about while I’m away? Take the pen? I think we will have fridges but there’s going to be long periods it will be out of the fridge whilst travelling.

I could save the last dose of pen 1 to take? Would mean wasting the extra dose in it but better that than spoiling two doses in pen 2?

Any thoughts welcome!

The pen doesn’t need to be in the fridge once in use, as long as it’s kept below 30 degrees. So just take the pen with you if you need to.

Don’t over think it.

First question - do you want to inject when away? If yes take the pen otherwise fine to skip a week.

Second question- If taking, is the pen really likely to get over 30 degrees? If yes buy a travel wallet. Lots on Amazon. Frio seems to be popular.

I’d save the bonus dose in the first pen to take on holiday. That way no waste. If the holiday is less than 10 days I wouldn’t take it - esp with a starter dose
