Highly recommend Mounjaro, it gave me me back within 9 months after perimenopause turned me into an obese person I didn’t recognise in a few short years.
use monj.co.uk to find a list of legit suppliers. They are not all equal in service but they all provide the exact same product. Read trustpilot reviews and search for the pharmacy names on here to help choose. There’s no benefit to going with big names just because you’ve heard of them, they charge more because of that.
Watch out for this thread attracting lots of people recommending their pharmacy with a code. It’s the WLI version of an MLM and they get credit too - so take those recommendations with a pinch of salt. Code sharing is not permitted in this way by either the pharmacies or mumsnet, unless you know someone in real life on it then ask them for a genuine rec.
you might be lucky and respond to the lower doses, don’t feel the need to rush up to next strength every month. If you are losing stick with the lower ones, additional bonus of that is once you know what you are doing it opens up the option of sub-dosing which can save you a lot of money.
its common to get a good new customer price but then it jumps up. This is why many people switch suppliers each month. If you can be bothered it does save a lot. Beware of the small number of suppliers with a subscription model.
You don’t have to involve your GP directly but the pharmacy you use will notify them so it’s added to your records. Most just note and file it with no contact with you, unless there is a medical contraindication.
