Bloating - baaaaddddd bloating!

Anyone else has this? I feel like my bloating has gotten steadily worse while on MJ. By the end if the day (but often even when I wake up) my belly is really distended. This is coupled with a lot of fluid retention in my legs - again by lunchtime I’ve added 1-2 cm from knees up!

Anyone tried anything that really works?

Exact opposite for me, zero bloating, zero fluid retention on MJ - one of my favourite benefits in fact. I don’t know anyone who hasn’t had the same as me on it. MJ is known for reducing inflammation not exacerbating it.

Maybe you have something else going on. I would check in with your provider and GP about this.

i have the same thing, lots of water and gas pooling in my intestines. My tummy is soooooooooo painful and distended. It is excruciating. I also have stopped losing weight although I am eating very little because of the pain. I am only on 3.25 mg having gone up from 2.5 because of the plateau. I tried massages, different types of fibre, reducing fibre, increasing/reducing water…….etc. I am sorry you are feeling like that and I am sorry I can’t offer a solution.

if you live in the uk, it’s been quite warm, and could be the heat.

Thanks all For the replies and so sorry @PositiveEnergyyy - has it just developed for you? Like @Iamthemoom initially MJ banished any bloating (I never really suffered though) and helped with the mild swollen ankles etc but in the last 4-5 months it’s just appreared (I’ve been in MJ for about 16 months now and never gone above 2.5). Good idea @northernlight20 that it might be the weather - but I’ve regularly been in 25 degrees since I started taking it. But it could also be I’ve just become less resilient

@PositiveEnergyyy it sounds like it’s very painful for you? I wouldn’t say I’m in pain but it’s really affecting me psychologically- even though I know it’s ‘only’ bloating I feel very down with it , back to baggy clothes etc 😔

will let you know if I find a solution!
