So I’m on my penultimate dose (currently at 2.5mg) I would have been on MJ for only 2 months and even though I don’t know how much more I’ll lose (I’m guessing 3lbs give or take), I’ve reached a point where a) I’ve reached my goal and b) I’m happy with the reflection in the mirror. I mostly gained weight thanks to HRT (which I’ve also scaled down).

ironically I’m still not a healthy BMI lol!

anywho any tips for weaning myself off it?

Have you changed your lifestyle sufficiently, and embedded as new habits in the 2 months to sustain the weight loss?

Also bear in mind it is possible, or even likely, if you come off completely water weight and inflammation may return even if you continue to eat well.

Personally I would try to reduce dose to a maintenance level - either 1.25mg weekly or 2.5mg fortnightly (making a pen last 8 weeks), increase to maintenance calories and try that for several months first to see if habits and weight loss can be sustained.

Good luck whatever you choose to do.

I learned that my second serving at dinner is now a no-no, beyond that I’ve lived a healthy life style ever since I lost 35kg 9 years ago.

HRT made me gain at least 3kg and increased my breast size at least 3 cups.

im aware the inflammation might come back, which will suck but it is what it is.

unfortunately I don’t find the side effects mild enough to continue, and they also take away from my marathon training.
